Apologies to all for not being around to do a whole lot here. I am currently very limited on computer activities (but I do have my ipod pretty much constantly) so I'm not much help.

I have actually volunteered to be a guardian, as of the 13th. The bit I can add to this (whether helpful or not) is that in the email I received in response, I got this:

Funny, I realized that we needed to e-mail Claire about the INTERCEPTION file last night, and sent her an e-mail this morning. Good to know I did the right thing though!

Again, apologies for seeming to have disappeared. Things have reached a point that should allow me to be more active here. I'll send an email to VS to reestablish communications.

ETA: Just in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, Vanessa/Claire have previously been referred to as "butterfly" due to the nature of their last name. It would make sense that the message that Cardui has sent is meant for her daughter.

Just throwing some ideas out:

Daffodils are also known as Narcissus. In the Greek mythos, Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection, and from their came the meaning of narcissistic.

Now, if we invert the meaning of narcissistic- to love oneself -then we are left with what, to love another? At an unhealthy level? We are supposed to be talking to Claire- and she grew ill due to her concern about her mother. I'm not sure if there is a connection, but I'm just trying to piece things together...

This is a little worrying. Back in the days of The Order Of Oroborot, the rather nasty wolves were seeking a way to grow a plant that would induce sleep as part of their nefarious plan to enslave humanity.

Why Claire / Vanessa's mother would be working for them is a bit of a mystery - although.... That thread of the game began with dual personalities and a struggle of one to become dominant. Could Cardui be seeking a method to "fix" Vlad - or Claire?
