Hi everyone! New here myself, so...

So, what do you like to be called? PianoManGidley, PMG, Gidley, PianoMan...whatever works, really.

How did you get into Marble Hornets? A week ago, a friend of mine blogged about a webpage that listed the "top 9 short horror films on the Internet." I watched all nine of them, and the introduction to Marble Hornets was their #8. I was disappointed that they only showed the introduction with nothing spooky going on, and I had nothing better to do that day, so I looked more into it. I summarily spent the entire afternoon/evening that day watching all the videos from both seasons, and I've been hooked since.

Favorite books/movies/games etc? I'm a big Tolkien fan, so his books and the movies based thereupon are favorites for me. I also enjoy other high fantasy fiction as well as nonfiction (particularly about the sciences or philosophy), and just about any movie that encourages me to think critically. I don't do a lot of gaming anymore, video or otherwise, but I still enjoy some of the classics now and again--the Zelda and Half-Life series, Magic: the Gathering, and D&D, to list a few.

Played any other ARGs? Which? This is my first ARG--I had never even heard of the concept before Marble Hornets.

The object to your immediate left is your only weapon against the Operator. What are your chances? A bag of garbage, primarily filled with empty soda cans, used paper plates, and a few worn, ripped articles of clothing. Prospect does not look good, but let's be honest--would ANY weapon give us a chance against the Operator?

Anything we should know about you? I enjoy a wide variety of puzzles, from Rubik's cubes to cryptograms, and am thoroughly enjoying this series so far. If you want to know anything else, just ask.

I was on a different forum when somebody posted a thread about Marble Hornets. I at first dismissed it because I assumed it was a spam thread. For some reason, I decided to click it, and thus I started watching MH.

I am religious for Marble Hornets and have gotten all my friends and my brother into it. I check the forums when every entry comes out, so I decided to finally join up before season 3 started. Anyway, more about me...

How did you get into Marble Hornets?
From someone mentioning it during the Haunted Majora's Mask Cartridge craze. I fell in love instantly.
Favorite books/movies/games etc?
Books: Watchmen, Black Hole, Pendragon series, Chris Ware books, Daniel Clowes books. Movie: Casino Royale (2006). Games: Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Paper Mario, Portal, Starfox, Team Fortress 2, Catherine, some Capcom fighters.

Other than MH, I follow TT, EMH (vaguely), MLA0, DH00, and TJAP.

I looked up ARGs for fun one night and I got a link to a Slender Man page and from there, Marble Hornets.

The Sting, Bowling for Columbine, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, To Kill A Mockingbird, Airplane! and a lot others.

So, what do you like to be called? Other than my username, I suppose you could call me Hecate, but since I'm not the actual Greco-Roman goddess Hecate, you can just call me Cat or RemlitQueen.

How did you get into Marble Hornets? Concrete Giraffes. Then I kept clicking on related videos until I found the entry where Masky invades Jay's bedroom and it was love at first sight between me and the Marble Hornets series. Right then and there I watched all the entries in sequence. I joined during enttry 37 and have been obsessed since.

Favorite books/movies/games etc? When I was in middle school I really enjoyed this little series called the Den of Shadows by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. The first book in it is In the Forests of the Night. Reading that series got me wondering if there really are any supernatural beings among us, with their own lives and agendas. Maybe that's why I'm so fascinated with the Slenderman mythos. I don't buy any of that Twilight bullshit, but I am rather interested in supernatural things and mythology. Hence why I love hearing about the slenderman. Granted, he's a product of the internet and 99% probability that he's fake, but hey it's fun to speculate.

I don't really watch movies all that much. I'm very picky about movies, and I hate movies where I can see what's coming next. I feel like I'm wasting time watching any sort of predictable movie.

As far as games, I love gaming, and I'm actually a Game Development major at my school. In fact, I got into MH right before we were getting around to discussing ARGs in class. And, class led me to these forums over a year ago. :3 Yay!

I love scary games. I must have played Haunting Ground over 30 times, and while it didn't get great reviews I still love it. I love Amnesia, but would like it more if my computer could play it. My first horror game was RE4, and I've been hooked on horror since. I feel like I have to keep finding scarier and scarier things because my senses keep adjusting, lol. I like Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, The Path, VTMB: Bloodlines, Condemned, and a bunch of others.

When I'm not in the mood to be scared I'll play TF2 or play an RPG like Skyrim. Good times. Oh, and Legend of Zelda.

Played any other ARGs? Which? None, other than this. I have glanced at a few and I am thinking I should pick up another arg to keep me from going crazy in between entries.

Anything we should know about you? Well, I suppose I am often really playful and nobody seems to like it... it makes me sad. Sometimes I swear people on the internet are too serious.

'Sup, all. I've been a lurker here for a moderate amount of time and still mostly lurk. I enjoy seeing the theories and speculation other people come up with. I wanted to start contributing to the conversation for one of my favorite webseries. And well, here I am.


So, what do you like to be called? Malckeor, Malck, Turkeyman, something along those lines.
How did you get into Marble Hornets? A few friends of mine and I were chilling one night and I just randomly started telling them about "this creepy thing" I'd read about online called The Slender Man. I eventually got around to saying "Yeah, there's a bunch of webseries that include him as an antagonist...", and well, that was probably the most suspenseful night of our lives. (This was around a week after Entry 46 was posted).
Favorite books/movies/games etc?
Books: The Halo book series, The Body of Christopher Creed, Green Eggs and Ham, and I'm interested in starting to read the Dune series.
Games: The original Sonic trilogy on the Genesis, Sonic Adventure series, The Elder Scrolls series, Halo, Gears of War, the Mass Effect trilogy (although, I've started liking that a bit less since completing the third), Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, etc.
Movies: The Lion King, pretty much every Pixar film (The Incredibles is my favorite of theirs), Kung Fu Panda, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ice Age, Dinosaur, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Super 8, etc.
Played any other ARGs? Which? I participated in the Mission: Icefly ARG a little bit when it first started out, but that's pretty much it. I also just got into EMH, but I mostly just watch that series rather than "play" it.

I've been lurking around here for awhile, and just got around to making an account. First post, yay?

How did you get into Marble Hornets? I stumbled upon it a little more than a year ago, and couldn't get past like Entry #3 because I am a huge wuss. But then this past Halloween my friends and I marathoned the 50 entries and I was hooked.

Favorite books/movies/games etc? I don't know. Harry Potter has a special place in my heart. Uhh. I like zombie shooting games and LoZ games (specifically Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask) yeah.

Played any other ARGs? Which? I recently marathoned EMH so now I try and follow that. I follow ILikeTrees, and I liked BEN DROWNED but who knows if that's ever continuing.

How did you get into Marble Hornets? Paranormal forum. I was looking for something to terrify myself with and I bunch of people were talking about how creepy it was.

Favorite books/movies/games etc? Favorite books will probably always be the "Dragon Lance" series. Favorite movies are Heartbreak Ridge, Full Metal Jacket, the original True Grit, Reservoir Dogs... Favorite games are Prototype, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War. Favorite band is The Black Keys.

Played any other ARGs? Which? I'm more or less skimming the surface on Tribe Twelve and Every Man Hybrid. Kind of new to the ARG field.
