I didn't notice it. It doesn't directly translate anything through rot13 or 47, doesn't work in hex or base64 or ascii dec. I tried some anagrams, but nothing seems to work all that well. Alphanumeric put into the above doesn't seem to do much either.

EDIT: Confirmed that the "Sequence" and "01" tags are also on the "Ask an Amnesiac #1" video on MNM.

 		This is unrelated to the current ARG, but it's about TJA.

I started TJA and was pretty enthralled. The characters seemed like real, visceral people, something that is pretty uncommon for Slendy vlogs. Usually, the characters are vehicles for the watcher, or they're badasses. Additionally, TJ and Aimee remind me of my friends, who are also real, visceral people.

However, I just couldn't continue past the episode where they visit the mom's house. Random dudes were introduced, who I knew nothing about, and who were pretty lame in comparison to TJ and Aimee. To top that off, I just couldn't accept that the girls were straight and were attracted to such boring dudes. It was more about the lack of knowledge, though.

If anyone could get me back up to speed with TJA, so I can finish it and move on to the new ARGs, that would be greatly appreciated. C:

I'm pretty sure that "Jake update 1" and the last two videos were deleted (and probably only Puppetmasters has it - though TJ could delete it from existence entirely...) so series incomplete anyway. And though 5zer02 not a bad series, I'm kinda agree with you, cause doesn't have the same feeling, the same... smell. BUT I CANT WATCH CAUSE ITS INCOMPLETE *give me DVDs with full series or I'll go on the rampage Shocked *

Well I can say that the inclusion of the "new guys", whom I assume are the guys from the 5zer02 slender blog, was a temporary thing that only lasted a few videos and then basically go off on their own.* There was a period during the TJA vlog that there were several tip-touching cameos and such (particularly during the NJ trip). 5zer02 and TJA (and the sequels) take place very much in the same "world", but their interconnectiveness debatable.

Okay, so I don't have to know very much about them to continue with TJA? But didn't Aimee say that Xakk was her ex-boyfriend, in a previous episode? It seemed like I would need to know more... If I'm really up to it, I'll just read the 5zero2 blog, is it pretty good?

Yeah, sorry, I didn't finish posting my full comment, but yeah, xakk is Amy's ex-girlfriend. As for TJ & Amy's heteronormativity, well... unfortunately it does seem that they are only "hetero life partners". Sorry about that.

* One of the most recent (March 2012) 5zer02 videos suggests that xakk traveled back to Illinois to find TJ and Amy after discovering what happene at the end of TJA Projects. He visits several of the sites seen in the TJAP vlog, but doesn't find much of anything... except someone mysterious following him.

The remainder of the vlog is worth watching though, and things do get crazy pretty quick after the crossover. Unfortunately, the "climax" of TJA Projects was destroyed by YouTube who banned/blocked/tarred-and-feathered the last two major videos. I believe some people have them saved offline, but if not, here's a EXTREMELY SPOILER-Y summary of what happens in the last few videos:

TJ goes back to Indiana to find Amy, who has been increasingly unhinged and bizarre during her outings in the woods. Contrary to a lot of the strange tweets and blog posts, Amy and her mother are alive and basically well. However, as the two reconnect, odd events occur - including being stalked by a mad dog (which Amy's mother's boyfriend is forced to shoot dead).

Shortly thereafter, the two seen enjoying some casual self-mutilation in a curiously giddy and enthralled manner for a short period before some distortion happens and the two snap out of whatever spell they were under and discover they are bleeding. Later on, the two are discussing plans for the future and possibly returning to Illinois. However, something distracts them and the two begin a short search of the house. Eventually they discover the bloody and possibly dismembered body of Sight. This is a bit too much for them and they go back to the porch and make hasty plans to leave the house ASAP.

TJ needs to call her mother and check on Dahlia, and gets up to get her phone from inside the house. When she turns around to go back outside, Slender Man is standing on the porch near Amy. When TJ runs out onto the porch hardly five seconds later, Amy has been attacked and lies on the patio with her throat cut. She basically dies in TJ's arms. The video ends as TJ is choking on her own grief, terror, and rage.


The final video of the series is still posted, although it offers few clues. Unfortunately, the transition videos and material of Find The Room are also offline now, although they didn't say much that we managed to figure out.

What's funny is that the videos were probably taken down because a dog was shot and killed, rather than the dismemberment and killing of several human characters. That's how censorship works, really. I guess it's all good, though, because I'm assuming Aimee's death is no longer canon, due to the videos being taken offline?


And about their heteronormativity (I'm glad a fellow forumite knows that word), I didn't much care if they were with each other or not, even though that would have been cute. I just wanted them to be queer (reclaimed word). xD

 		There was a huge flap about the dog video, huge forum explosion about it. I was actually one of the minority of people who saw it before it was taken down and it was nothing explicit. Most of it was implied, and in fact the dog wasn't actually killed (until later when RL animal control came out; IRL it was actually a rabid dog and TJ had Dahlia at the house, it was an extremely tense situation). I do recommend going through the old TJAP thread (its about three or four pages back on the main forum list), a lot of the action that happened outside of the videos is important and extremely spooky. It also gives a little context of what was happening OOG.

Unfortunately, TJ has rebooted her OOG blog two or three times now due to online/offline harassment, so almost all of the links in the original thread to her blog are dead.

As for Amy's death, no, I don't think it was retconned. I think it's still canon because of what was mentioned in 5zer02. It's a MAJOR mystery surrounding what is happening here in TurnToClouds

Whoa, really? This is sounding like TJA had one of the more interesting OOG experiences out of Slendy vlogs, if not the most. The girls have balls for using an actual diseased animal, props. I'd probably be less impressed by what could be viewed as animal torture, but as a film buff/major, I love the stories BEHIND what you see on camera. Art through adversity, I always say.

The Last video, "Answers", is a short video shot by an unknown person (although likely this is Servus from FTR and MNM). The video focuses on a newspaper article which records the incident of a catastrophic car accident. The driver, TJ, was critically injured and was hospitalized in the ICU, and at the time of the article, was in a coma.

The article also indicates that the police want to question her about the deaths of Amy and Sight. Possibly also the disappearance of Dahlia, but I can't remember if that actually was in the article. There is a code in the video (I believe in the text of the article) which when decyphered reads: "This is not the end".

Essentially, the series "ends" with all of the main characters dead or incapacitated, and Dahlia likely captured by Slender Man and his minions. It's a very interpretable ending, although this has been modified by the events of FTR and MNM & TTC

Okay, I guess she's still stuck in the motel where she was sheltering from this tornado, or on the trip she mentioned. Still, a bit odd all things considered.
