[LOCKED] The Rake

 		The Rake
As seen on Memories' comments, totheark supposedly uploaded a picture on the creepypasta wikia. I would've dismissed this, but Memories does have white circles in it a few times that do resemble the Rake's eyes quite a bit (at least, totheark's picture, other pictures have black eyes).

Some parts of the creepypasta are similar to Marble Hornets too, actually, like the part about how people who experienced it had reactions from curiosity to terror, kinda like Alex.

An entry in the story goes on to how the creature watched people as they slept, just looking at the people and saying nothing. So then one of the people sets up a camera near their bed to leave running all night.

These similarities could be a bit of a stretch, sure. But what about the eyes in Memories and the picture by Totheark? The picture was uploaded Feb 9 2011, months before Memories was posted.

I dunno, if anyone has any answers that'd be cool.

Do you really think the actual ToTheArk would post that? It's a troll, dumbass. Marble Hornets only exist on YouTube land and somewhat twitter, if you count jay's posts there as anything other than a reminder that a new entry is coming

 		To put it somewhat more politely, the person that uploaded that picture is in no way affiliated with Marble Hornets. They make all of their in-game posts through youtube and twitter, which makes it safe to assume that anything else is an imitator.

The MH crew have made it pretty clear that the only monster they want to focus on is the Operator, so the Rake isn't very likely to make an appearance. But the Rake and Slenderman do share a lot of similarities, and they go hand-in-hand in some other slenderman vlogs.

The white eyes in Memories and the eyes on that picture of the Rake are coincidence.

I want to clarify that The Rake does not belong to EverymanHYBRID. <_< The creepypasta has been around much longer. It was around before the slender man, I believe.

Yes, but it's mostly associated with EMH now, especially in the Slendy community. They didn't make it up, and they don't have any official ownership over it, but it's practically theirs now.

 		Closing this thread. The Rake is not involved in Marble Hornets (at least to date) and any sources outside the MarbleHornets/totheark YouTube channels and the MarbleHornets Twitter account are not part of the story.
