Ok to defend my opinion I just want to say I'm worried that slender creators won't get any credit for there hard work in developing this myth, and that a large poppulation of viewers will let Marble Hornets, and its sister projects go unnoticed.

I'm still not sure about this one. I'd like to see a better trailer or synopsis.

So the Director just posted this video to the movie blog. It's not an official trailer, and doesn't give any plot away, but there is a VERY LOVELY moment that made me jump.. Right around :25

That's pretty fuckin' cool actually...Agreed on the :25 mark.
Clever title--wonder how many people get it?
I agree with angrydeepground about things going "public"--not in a hipster way (God forbid) but like what he said about the "mainstream" generic public/consumers latching onto something and either ruining it--or totally not giving props and nods/respect to the pioneers.
But the folks doing this seem like they'd do a great job--more like a very indie film that is a step up from episodes/entries being posted every so often--but totally not commercial and just out for a quick buck.
Keepin' my eye on this!

Looks ok. Hard to tell, it being a teaser, but I'm a little reassured.

Apparently the guy who's making it lives in my area. He posted the full trailer today to a Philadelphia, PA -area filmmaker's group on Facebook.

Well, at least Hylo is staying true to the mythos: There's always a character named J.

The trailer is cringe-worthy... Poorly acted, poorly scripted, I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

I dunno. This seems a lot more character based than strictly spooky/horror based - which is probably why it's the production that has the most hope for me.
