So there could still be posts from Hoody who is also presumed to be part of totheark, based upon the video "Intermission"[/i]


Yeah, but what would the point of it be? To antagonize someone who is already leaning toward your side? That kind of douchebaggery is just self defeating unless TTA doesn't know what the fuck they want.

No they don't. The maskies are still in the plot without the videos continuing, Jay, Alex, The Operator, Amy, and Jessica, are still in the plot, and since Tim has Marble Hornets tapes Sarah, Brian, and Seth could also be in the plot. Why would getting rid of totheark videos stop the whole plot?

 		This is the first season where I'll actually be watching the updates as they're uploaded. How long do they usually leave it between updates? Been itching for the next one ever since Sunday Surprised

They try to release one entry per week. They don't always manage to do that. Troy promised that this season updates will become more regular, though. (I'm not getting my hopes up, but still.) The very fact that they continue making new entries at all is enough to make me happy.

To be honest, I haven't really seen the TTA videos in season 2 make that much of an impact on the plot. When I marathoned the series after learning about it, I went through all the entries up to 51 without ever knowing of the TTA videos. The plot can survive without the TTA videos.

I went back and watched the TTA videos in order with the entries they were in response to and the season 1 videos did add to the experience, but the season 2 ones were so abstract that it actually took away from the experience.

 		Why are people debating if TTA will continue? I see no mention of totheark, direct or indirect, in that blog entry. All indications are that we will get more totheark responses. There was even a Q&A session at Geek Media Expo where Troy said that totheark will be a part of the story for season three.

I can't wait to see the Entry that Troy is so excited about.

 		The reason season 2's totheark videos weren't very essential to the plot is that YouTube dun goofed and they made video responses incredibly hard to find, whereas before they appeared right under the video they were responding to.

I don't think they'll stop the totheark videos entirely, even if they're more of a fan service now. They definitely won't post anything too important there, because requiring people to check multiple areas for updates to one series is a bad move. That's one of the things I like about MH; you can just watch one youtube channel and get the gist of it, unlike something like EMH that requires you to have an extensive knowledge from the get-go to even know what you're watching---that kind of thing isn't good for getting followers.

You'll notice that the TTA-esque videos that actually have a significant amount of plot relevance (Entry ###### and enttry #37) were posted to the MH channel instead of the TTA channel. That's because a good portion of MH viewers have no idea what TTA is. (On a side note, I still think Jay uploaded #37 and just doesn't remember, but my point stands)

Even if Tim does get his memory back and starts helping Jay, Brian (or whoever Hoody is) could continue posting TTA videos. In fact, it would probably be even more interesting if Tim continued posting videos without even realizing it.

i disagree with this. totheark is one of the two huge mysteries that keep people watching the series. without totheark the story wouldn't be nearly as complex, and for them to just ignore it this season would be doing the fans a disservice

Strongly disagree, I could see not realizing it exists until whatever entry jay says "I saw the totheark response" and he tells us he's been taping himself. That's when I realized I should be following both channels instead of one.

I watched the first 51 entries without knowing about the TTA videos. On it's own, the main MH videos are a damn good watch and you don't get lost in the plot.

That said, I'm a sucker for wanting to know more about the story and the production, so I've got both season 1 and 2 DVDs ordered and on their way. Razz
