Wierd string of letters at end of youtube video game trailer

Hey peeps: Newbie here. I was on IGN.com's website and came across what looks like a fan made trailer for some game called Firefall. It looks fairly unremarkable, but at the end a female voice calls out a series of letters. Thought "she" was spelling something, but I can't make sense of the letters. They spell out gibberish. My buddy thinks the gibberish may be some sort of code or an "alternate reality game" and referred me here. Personally, I just learned about "ARGs now and have no idea what to do. I'm DYING to know what the gibberish means, if anything. My buddy told me that you guys could probably crack it easily. Me, I don't even know where to begin (I used the ROT tool on this site, but only came up with different gibberish). HELP! Trailer's very recent and I couldn't find any reference to it anywhere. Hope I'm posting in the right place. If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to tell if it is a code and, if so, how to go about cracking it?

Thanks.
Pete

Hi, pete, welcome!

this is the perfect place to post a rumor of a potential of a trailhead of a something.

Step one, someone needs to transcribe the letters. I'll be back with that, unless someone beats me to it. Step two really depends on what's there.

Ok, here's what I got...

*edit: So, my first guess was perhaps a beta key, or something like that. But by looking at the tags on the video, I'd say it's definitely a coded message.

Hmmmm... Vigenere, maybe? Let's see...

around here, we only put solutions in spoiler tags, not the data. Here's what I hear:

personally, I think it's simply not giving us enough data to decode it. Perhaps I would search for other similar strings on the internet. (and yes, that's a fan-made vid. I wouldn't expect a big trailhead here)

Goodness, it's been ages. And yeah, looks like they're doing a trailer challenge... thing. Kudos to this guy for working in a puzzle element, though!

Trailhead?

Read the description
Enermax Industries presents the latest in our line of premium military-grade battleframes: Recon Version 1.8. After watching this HD promotional demonstration of the Recon Battleframe's capabilities, please click on the "Like" button below or contact a sales representative for further information. Constructive comments are always welcome. Thank you for choosing Enermax Industries.

So they are presenting an in-game company as real. Poster James Beame has posted only this video. And he's from Canada (Toronto maybe?)

Smells like an ARG and I say we come up with a consensus on the letters at the end. I would help but boss is around so computer's on mute.

Re: Trailhead?

Hey Peeps. I have to agree with GlitchTybalt that the letter sequence is probably: (m/n) a a j v z l x p p e q u l y q s c c q e. I can't quite make out the first letter, but I'm leaning toward "n". I've ruled out rot-it and anagrams (this is my first experience with the kind of cryptography not found in a book of puzzles, so I'm starting small). I'm working on the substitution cypher next.

BTW: I captured the audio of the letter sequence, but don't know how to post it online. Time to read the help section. Much obliged if anyone has ponters.

Pete

Edit: Nevermind, I think I got it.
