The Art of Video Games
Smithsonian exhibition includes TRON

Quote:
The Art of Video Games is one of the first exhibitions to explore the forty-year evolution of video games as an artistic medium, with a focus on striking visual effects and the creative use of new technologies.

I couldn't find any mention of this, although it felt familiar, like maybe it was discussed in another context.

Scroll down and you'll see listed:

Intellivision
TRON: Maze‐Atron

It's a little thing, I know, but thought you'd enjoy it.

The exhibit opened today at the Smithsonian American Art Museum,
runs March 16, 2012 – September 30, 2012
and will tour various U.S. cities after that.

(oh now I remember, there was a big discussion over on the Cyan forums about how Myst will be included as a playable exhibit.)

Cool! Altho I'd have to normally wait until 2015 to see it locally...I'll be able to see it when I visit DC this summer! Awesome!
