 		Brand new player, maybe new axon. *Any* help would be sweet.
I wish I would have joined this sooner. Maybe then I would be less confused. Unfortuantely, that wasnt possible, so Im wondering if its now to late to start playing this thing.

Ive read everything I can find about melissa, and the other AI's, and basically understand what a person needs to do who is already involved in the game. I think Ive read pretty much everything someone outside the game needs to read to get a clear picture of whats going on. Im just not completely clear on how to join in myself, as the axons are too far away for me to just show up at one at the right time.

What Ive been able to gather so far is that I can make an axon of my own by sending in a picture of myself Question saluting Question with the payphone and the payphones number and location. Will i get a confirmation of whether my phone will ring or not? or will I just know my picture was rejected by the phone not ringing? do I also have to include a time I will be there at? or will Melissa assign the time?
Also, is there anything else I am missing that I need to get started?
I should also be on AIM as viperm1mech most nights from about 10-12 PDT if you would be willing to talk to me about starting this awesome game.

 		The only problem with joining in the game now is that it's probably nearly over...but hey, there's still fun to be had! Very Happy

So anyway, this comes straight from Melissa herself:

Posing isn't necessary; just a photo of the phone number (and address too, if it's on the phone--some folks have said that she requires proof of the phone's address to confirm coordinates) sent to danatwingSPLATgmail.com with explanatory email should be sufficient. You'll need Test Drive Eagle to generate coordinates from the address. She should send confirmation, but if she doesn't, just check the next coordinate list for yours when it's posted (usually previewed on Fridays).

OR, you can submit yourself as crew by leaving a message on Dana's voicemail (415-248-2617, I believe). You must leave name, rank, contact number, and "proof of loyalty."

 		I have a couple of questions: what do you mean by "loyalty"; and what if i don't have a cell phone? can i use my regular home phone?

 		If she accepts your axon, Melissa could decide to call you any time of day next Tuesday. Will you be able to get home at whatever time she picks over the next few weeks? Cellphones solve that little problem.
