I'm going to fill the numerical values of the total current reserves, for each resource, based on the exact size of the bar.

Edit: Done. Now I'd like to make some Excel trickery and turn these into actual percentages based on the 0-5000 legend.

Edit 2: Done as well. I didn't go for formulas though, Google Docs doesn't work the way I expected.

Discrepancies List...

My compiled list of discrepancies between the jpeg files, and the website.
Don't know if there is anything to this , but is interesting to me:

Module 1.4 Android Efficiency
JPEG INFO: David 7 - 93 94 89 44
WEB INFO: David 7 - 97 96 95 96
Differences: +4 +2 +6 +52

Module 1.6 Resource Key
JPEG INFO: Tx 621
WEB INFO: Tx 627
Difference: +6

Module 2.1 Current Stock Price
JPEG INFO: Data as of 03/21/2072 4:00 PM ET
WEB INFO: Data as of 03/21/2073 4:00 PM PST
Differences: +1 (year) and timezone

Module 2.2 Sales Data
JPEG INFO: 2074
WEB INFO: 2073
Difference -1 (year)

Any ideas??
I know this may just have been mistakes they fixed, but that seems kind of weird, so here it is...

Additional thoughts...

Thinking more about these differences, I keep asking, Why is this available for downloading a jpeg in the first place.
Seems like it must be intentional for us to be looking at both, making the differences intentional, right?
Or else why wouldnt they post revised jpegs for download?

Ok, tired now, see ya in the AM (mst) !

We should keep in mind those resources with their proper chemical symbol, those who don't, and the fictional ones, that way we can sort them out in order of significance.

I think this is a good idea. Maybe the fact that they had to add fictional resources points to these ones being used to spell something and they had to add these fictional ones so that they would have the appropriate letter combinations available?

Did anyone realize that you can look at the different proficiencies of the different model of David's? Because I just noticed it. I may have missed it when the thread was going by earlier this evening.

I did notice this, then i went through each bit of data to see if it was clickable or not - the only thing i found being when you click a resource it highlights it to the right on the bar graph.

I didnt look too closely at the difference in the numbers in each model, as the timeline states that each model it increased in proficiency, and that it looked promising - but perhaps there is something to those numbers as well?

Too much math in all of this as far as I'm concerned :3 hehe

@tpbiv

Yes I did but I didn't see any of the lists of the other 6 David models. By the jpeg David 7 is just only barely ahead of the David 1's in the emotional category.

Yes sorry, i was mainly responding to the fact that the data was interactive on the website, and that none of the other graphs/charts are like that other than the resources that you can click and have highlight to the side - I did see your hard work on the calculations, and i thank you for doing all the number crunching there.

It's now past midnight here, and i think my brain is sufficiently fried. Time for bed, and to have really weird dreams about stars, a dude chasing after 7 women, and charts. OH JOY! Very Happy

There was no number crunching. If you click on the names David 7 or David 6 or whatever on the website. It shows the numbers on the website for you. I just copied them down.

Yeah, I'm done for today too, but I'm glad they're keeping us entertained somehow. Tomorrow we'll focus on all the data we've just sorted and figure this new thing out without overdoing it.

that's either an ominous foreshadowing that "David 8" isn't all that he's cracked up to be in the emotional dept....OR....
more sloppiness on the part of the website designers Smile

Wouldn't that make sense given the (future) history of Weyland-Yutani androids like Ash? If there were still model "deficiencies" in much later generations of droids, it seems unlikely Weyland would have solved those problems decades before. I rather like the specter of uncertainty about the Davids... it adds a thread of continuity to the Ridley-verse unfolding before us again (especially out of chronological order).
