If you sort the resources into the number of years left order, you can see there are a few pairs, and one tripple -

ADAMANTINE 147 Ax 100,509.00 79
RARE EARTHS 345 Zx 100,509.00 79

ORICHALCUM 247 Oc 138,677.00 109
RHODIUM 45 Rh 138,677.00 109

GALLIUM 31 Ga 231,552.00 182
GRAPHITE 147 Pc 231,552.00 182

PLATINUM 78 Pt 250,636.00 197
WATER 0 Ho 250,636.00 197

CARMOT 219 Ct 278,626.00 219
TIN 50 Sn 278,626.00 219

COAL 6 C 500,000.00 393
GAS 1 Za 500,000.00 393
OIL 2 Oi 500,000.00 393

and we have the already mentioned pair if you sort by resource / element number

RHODIUM 45 Rh 138,677.00 109
TITANIUM 45 Ti 316,794.00 249

It's secure until you happen to mouse over or click on one of the outside links(Twitter, Facebook) bottom right.

Just a thought but do all these discrepencies involve numbers??

If so has anyone tried a comination of the differences?

For example, the difference between the two Tridium numbers is/was 6

I would recommend trying to first list them all and then try that as a url and then if no luck try adding the numbers up.

I hope the PMs are watching this b/c to me this is not my idea of fun. We're basically scratching around not know what we're aiming for or how we could get there. Confused

Remember there are 2 pairs. I believe that could be important.

I tried all of those numbers on both sites Wednesday night, so if that turns out to be the case, then it is rigged.

That, and complexity of how far people are digging into this thing does not match the level of the answers to previous puzzles. The answers should be clever, not exercises in tedious statistical analysis

Indeed, but equally I don't want to be told where to look so could do without the Twitter updates. The game should be difficult but not involve prompting.

In an effort to list absolutely anything that involves the name Prometheus and space I thought I'd point to a blog post from the Bad Astronomer which I've just got around to reading:

Apparently it's a very active volcano on Io. Meh.

I'm wondering if we still have clues to uncover from the **weyland message. There are two things that are sticking out in my mind:

1. She specifically mentions Kepler 22b. May be nothing. But it is an "Earth-like planet"

2. There's that digital noise sound, somewhat like modem noise (not specifically a handshake, but data). Has anyone tried feeding that into a product to see if it contains anything useful?

The Next Great Tweet

Maybe the next time they tweet us some clue or clues, the message will say that we have enough clues to "add it up".
