Massive lead.

Adamantine Ax 147 = Promethium 147

I'd keep following this and that other company Y U Ta Ni.

Very interesting. Also keep in mind that GRAPHITE has been incorrectly given the same number 147. Thanks Mr_White!

I forgot to add this interesting quote btw

Quote:
Promethium was first produced and characterized at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1945 by the separation and analysis of the fission products of uranium fuel irradiated in a graphite reactor.

The discoverers proposed the name "prometheum" (the spelling was subsequently changed), derived from Prometheus, the Titan in Greek mythology, who stole fire from Mount Olympus and brought it down to mankind, to symbolize "both the daring and the possible misuse of mankind's intellect." However, a sample of the metal was made only in 1963.

It might be coincidence, but this mentions both Graphite and Promethium.

Promethium metal was made using a tantalum crucible, as well...

time well spent...

So tonight after not seeing much promise for any new clues i decided to play around with the downloadable JPG's from the investors page and with screen captures of the investors page in its full.

i am using GIMP atm as my copy of photoshop doesnt seem to be available on the mythical shelf of my cloud so basic functions have been a bit complex [scaling mainly]
whilst i havent seen anything "amazingly tantalizing" or anything new i noticed that despite having the images and info graphics lined up perfectly the text is formatted [words on different lines of the site, styles, size?] differently in some places. this has made it hard to line up text to get an overlay comparison. My eyes have finely given up after scanning what looks like a bad 3d image for some time. Has anyone else tried similar? looks kinda dead to me...

Also i noticed the Downloadable JPG file has Smaller amounts of COBALT and YTTRIUM showing on its Resource Infographic/Barchart.

I pointed this out a couple days ago and posted an animated gif showing it.

The Yytrium value is way off.

And yes, the formatting between the two is a nightmare.

I'm stumped.

As a first time ARGer this sucks.

First movie that i've been interested in that actually has one of these and they basically screw it up from the start.

i'm thinking we have to click on the clickable things and get the right order or something?

I still don't know where else to go with this....

That's a bit harsh.
ARGs tend to be a bit more academically challenging than clicking on things. There will be a whole lot more to this than that. There already has been.
As just a casual follower of a few ARGs I'm confident "they" haven't screwed it all up (occasional typos and corrections notwithstanding), "they" are just revealing clues at a pace that requires a little patience, and an open mind.

Sorry perhaps I was a bit frustrated.

How about this lead then,

Looking at all the typos in the 2 modules, how about we take all the letters that were out of place and use those as a way to come up with a new URL?

That being said, that seems like poor game design if you can't find the originals. I have downloaded what are quite close to the first versions, but they've updated them numerous times.

Anyone have a copy of the webpage modules before any editing took place?

Or perhaps a list of all the edits that took place?

If they're beefing up their investor statistics that would seem to be a probable lead for a new URL?

Trout I think we all get your point, and by now you're being more than a little redundant. We all want this thing to move forward, but continuously saying something has to lead somewhere isn't going to make it so.

Hello-first post- have wandered over from Twitterville- so please don't throw things!

I wondered if the Prometheus Bound clue could mean the ship bound out into space, and the edge of space clue meant to look at the second picture in that area- where sky meets stars.

I don't have any technical skill to find things like a single flickering pixel-anyone know how to check out the picture - or has it been done pretty much already?

facebook post from Prometheus
Highly Classified Polyurethane compound

"On this day in 2026, Weyland Industries earns patent number 9,158,239 for a chemical composition of classified properties able to almost perfectly replicate the biological features and textures of human skin. "

Has any potential relationship between the list of off-world elements Adamantine, Carmot,Eitr, Orichalcum and Tridium (or is that Tritium with a typo?) been eliminated?

Bound, Unbound

The twitterpost "Prometheus Bound" , along with that story, coupled with Prometheus Unbound...
with the "edge of space" clue thing,
I read on wikipedia about how space could be "unbound", meaning its a measurable size, but has "pac-man" physics... Like go out one side, come into the other sort of thing.

I have no idea how this could help.

DUHHRR..

In case its not immediately obvious..

The background pattern in the Weyland Industries site that we were trying to resolve the other day is one and the same with the one that Holloway & Shaw find on the ancient tablets, etc.

I'll post a screen overlay here shortly.

IF, and I say IF, the planet they arrive on is LV-426, we have the right ascension/declination coordinates, provided to us by Ripley herself in 1979..
