Alex also wore them.

It may be nothing, but was Jeff wearing a beanie on the road at Christmas?

What makes you say that this is a confirmed appearance by HABIT?
Because It's definitely HABIT's recording, and he has the largest ego ever, so if its not the boys flailing in the wind in his segments, its got to be HABIT.

That message "HAVE YOU MISSED ME?"(and the fact the Silhouette waved at us after...well waved or raised its knife at us), The mysterious footage, The strangely-appropriate music, and all to the air of "I've got bigger things ahead", and "You will be mine". Last time I checked, HABIT always has some sort of scheme, and has been looking for a new permanent place to root around in, namely one of the hybrids.

So, I don't know if this has been pointed out or not, I'm still going through everything but it most certainly looks like there are to bodies in this scene. The one on the left reminds me of Evan by the colour of the pants. Not sure who the one on the right is, possibly Jeff. It appears to be wearing a beanie and Vince isn't once to wear beanies.

Anyways just a thought Razz[/img]

I would think the one on the right would be Vinnie, considering the glasses are closest to him. Unless Vince is behind the camera. But, as it was mentioned before, Jeff and Vince are the ones who were shown getting into a car accident so I don't think Evan would be there at all.

I'm pretty sure the car crash is Vinny and Jeff. I'm pretty sure the one on the right is Vinny and the left is Jeff.

Not to be too annoying or anything.

That is a weird "layout" for a t-bone car crash. I mean, two bodies a good distance in front of the car.

I'm sure the shot is meant to be from that scene, but I wonder if that's what actually...happened.

I thought the same thing. There was probably some post-crash Rakeage

In the entry entitled "A Vinnie/HYBRID Christmas",during the driving scene Jeff is wearing a navy blue or black knit cap.

looks like i probably pissed off quite alot of people i admire on Tumblr with my last post, so maybe i should try and explain.
firstly, i dont have a tumblr, got no need for one, but i still check in with the ones i know of from time to time, so i saw what happened.
i also saw one note on the tumblr post about how much we see, and i agree with that guy.
as fans, we only see a tiny portion of what actually goes into a video. the visual and audio editing, the script writing, the driving around for location shooting, the meeting up, we dont see any of that. what we see is a brief 5-10 minute entry a month-ish.
i know full well that my last comment was misguided and uninformed, but its all ive got to go on, i didnt even know Jeff was in charge of the editing.
but my point was lost in this.
from my point of view, EMH was the greatest series i saw, i even got a friend of mine hooked on it enough to begin watching all the other series, and guess what? we both agree that nothing compares.
but we also agree that things have changed with the series, neither bad nor good. the series seems to have taken on a new direction.
what happens in the lives of the creators is their own business, and i can understand how busy they are, so the sparse entries are forgiveable.
but what happened to all the ARG stuff and fan interaction? what happened to twitter posts and ustream videos? shooting and editing entries can be a long process, im sure. but posting a tweet, or replying to an email can take mere minutes.
the whole series seems to be veering off towards the Marble Hornets way of doing things, whereby the characters are distant, and there is no interaction, which wouldnt be so bad if we hadnt had this in the first place.
im not forcing a massive complaint here, im just trying to figure out what exactly has happened to make this change, and im trying to figure this out with the limited information i have.
i came into the series around the time "sigma" was uploaded and current. i missed the main bulk of the series, and had to play catch up. i dont know if something happened, be it IG or OOG to make this change, but i know i have noticed it.
so whether this post gets hated, flamed or i get completely ostracised by the ARG-community, i dont much care. EMH is still the best there has been, i just hate to see what was a massively free and successful series simmer down to an isolated series where the fans cannot have any input.
and if all this post gains is the loathing of the creators i truly admire, then so be it. i'd rather have people hate me for what they know i think, than to assume the worst and run with it.
this is how one committed fan feels, and its the truth.
and i am seeing this series through to the end, no matter what comes of this post.

AJ I don't know the specifics of your situation but there have been a few posts on here with a similar opinion, that the series is great, but calling it an ARG is kinda pushing it. I haven't seen anyone get flamed for having that view so not sure why you would be any different. Just enjoy the show, don't take it so seriously. Just remember, this is the same community that has almost come to blows over some of the most trivial things through the lifespan of EMH. Something about this particular show has inspired a very rabid and vocal fanbase. Quite a testament to the creators I'd say.

I think you are simply reacting to where we are in the story. Jeff is SUPPOSED to be withdrawing right now, he's just lost his brother, and wants us all the go away, and he's been the primary driving force interacting with us since the beginning.

Evan is spiraling down as well into his own little dark place, and has never been the most communicative anyway.

Vince, if the Voyeur prophecy is right, is also playing some sort of endgame that we can't see yet, and clearly (from the video with Alex) looks like he has things to hide both from them and us.

They are cutting themselves off because the story dictates it. Ride it out. They'll be back. I can't imagine that as integral as we've been at points in the story that they don't have a role for us in the end-game. There's still Box 7 to be found, the Tournament to be sorted out... plenty for us to do.

hokay. this is the last post i'll make on this specific concern at this specific point in the story.

i've talked to relevant parties, and i've found that my fears regarding the possible sexual assault of the only remaining female character are in fact unfounded. this makes me really, really happy. i'm sorry for bringing oog stuff onto this thread, but i think it's an important point to make and an important point to make note of. i'm still not entirely okay with the themes of rape in the cystw blog, especially considering that rape is commonly used as a way to further drama/emotional stakets/etc in fiction, but knowing that steph's pregnancy was simply unplanned and not the result of something...more insidious...puts a lot of my fears at rest. i do apologize if i came off as accusatory or as condemning emh purely based on a trope i found objectionable, but i do hope y'all understand why i did find these implications disturbing, and i hope anyone else with similar misgivings are similarly soothed by this news.

argh. i'm doing another double-posting thing. so apologies. i just figured it was cleaner to address this in a separate post.

on a purely practical level, keeping up with the more specifically ARG elements in this series has to be really goddamn difficult, considering that the creators don't have the luxury of employing people specifically to take care of that side of the series.

on a story-based level, jeff is absolutely set up to withdraw from us. he is now completely alone, even among his few remaining close friends. none of them (aside from steph, who has her own problems to worry about) can really understand how it feels to lose one's entire family, much less how it feels to fail to protect one's family from harm. i wouldn't be surprised if jeff was the next casualty, seeing as everyone he has ever felt anything for with the exception of vinny and evan is now dead. that kind of shit has to have a wicked-strong effect on a person.

also on a story-based level, i think we should send jeff our condolences and support, even if he doesn't want it. it's the least we can do. he might blame us for things going even worse than they were, but as viewers, it's still our duty to remind him that we care and that we sympathize with his loss, even if we don't completely understand it. it may not help, but just knowing that despite what he thinks, he's not alone, well, it might let him keep going a few days longer. and that's really the best we can hope for at this point.

I think people were complaining about that, so maybe that's part of why it's been phased out. I started watching EMH only a few months ago, and some things I've had trouble figuring out. So if someone didn't want to put the effort into it, they'd have no idea what was going on and some were bound to whine to the creators about it.
