Maybe Jay doesn't remeber being hoody in the same way tim doesn't remember being masky...

i'm going to try to negate this theory using the same logic that people use to create theories on here

jay clearly isn't a marathon runner, shown by his chase with tim. he was a few miles in the woods in entry 40. i'd say at a minimum of 3 miles each way (a few = more than 2). since the camera is blank for 15 minutes in between 40 and 41, it would mean jay has to run a minimum of 6 miles within 15 minutes to pull off being hoody. yeah, no. on top of that, hoody is seen sitting next to a tree when alex pulls up to rosswood. he'd have to take off the clothes and run back inside using an alternate route, all while somehow forgetting being hoody minutes before.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you guys to get your DVD? Bonus points for answers from Virginia or somewhere in that neighborhood so I can compare.

I hear totheark reviewed and rated the season 2 DVD. Something along the lines of,
"watchingthe returning
season time lost
two thumbs up"

Hey, people. When I put in my DVD the part before the menu with the lightbulb just keeps looping and doesn't let me select anything. Halp?

What happens if you just hit the play button?

Nothing Sad

Sounds like you should contact Troy or someone and ask about getting a replacement. In the meantime, are you playing it on your computer or on a DVD player? If you're playing it on your computer, are you saying that you can't access the videos even when you mouse over them?

I've only put it in the DVD player. I'll contact them about it.

Did anybody get an actual shipping confirmation from the vender? I haven't gotten anything and I sent them an email like 3 days ago. :/ I've gotten no response. I'm about ready to ask for a refund.

They don't give confirmations, as I recall. I forget who handles the printing of the DVDs themselves, but I think they do them on-demand after the initial rush. If you didn't order them back then, then there might be a waiting period of 4 to 6 weeks.

That's disappointing. Just ordered mine a few days ago. I also didn't get a confirmation number. It's troubling to think I may not get it for weeks, I just live in Indiana.

It took a few weeks for me to get in the DVD's, but it was worth the wait. Overall, season 2 is done far more professionally compared to the Season 1 boxed set, but I honestly prefer the commentary of season 1. Season 2's commentary was filled with them struggling to find informative things to talk about. Plus, I liked the jokes during the totheark entries. It's nice to not be so serious all the time.

Although I will say, I want a GIF made out of when Tim was swinging from that tree in his Masky attire. That was hilarious.

Soooooo I didn't figure the way I received my dvd was any different from anybody else until I saw this thread.

Here is a picture of the packaging my dvd came in. I purchased season 1 and 2.

I checked both the back and the inside of the package thoroughly and couldn't find anything else.

Not going to lie I'm a little freaked out mine is different but I am sure it's more of a matter of left over postage then a message.......I hope >_< lol

Got my DVD on Friday – but due to uni and work couldn't watch it until last night Sad

I watched the entries first, because I really felt I needed to refresh myself with season two – and you know what? I really did enjoy it a lot more the second time around. Stripped of it being purported as the final season and viewed as another instalment in the saga it's far more enjoyable. I'm a little surprised that people often – when – I think we've had some truly horrific and unnerving moments, equal to season. Masky's arrival in the hotel, Totheark's 'Intermission' and Alex killing a total stranger (murder? Manslaughter?) are all truly shocking and unnerving as hell. I'm also a little surprised people have complained about The Operator, his presence here has just been as unnerving as the first season with or being purely stoic. Even in his stoic moments, he's still terrifying. All that moving about in entry #2 and #7? Not necessary. He'll get you by standing still. His invasion of the everyday world, regardless of whether it is a burnt out old building or a nature trail, is unnerving as hell to watch and remind us that he really is one of the most horrific movie creations of recent times.

We also finally really do get a sense of Jay as a character. In season one, Jay seems to be pretty much a device for us for the story. Here, we see Jay, isolated and alone, on the brink of madness, trying to find. In entry #49, when he interacts with the camera, as if it's a friend who will quell his anxiety, exchanging looks to it as if it's a friend to share his fears and it's anxiety it's a painful reminder of his situations and how far his sanity is being undermined by his . When he looks or to his, it's a painful reminder just how isolated and alone he is. In, it's painful to see Jay look at the camera and interact with it, as a substitute for a person. His encounters with Alex are as frustrating, as we see a man pushed to his limits being pushed even further and we feel his disgust as. Hats off to the fellahs for this.

It's still a little light on MANY of the questions of season one and throws more questions then it answers and and I still don't think a story like this should be stretched over three years. But I still love it – and I think most of us here do too.

Season two at best should be viewed as an ongoing instalment and I think even to label it as a 'season' is a mistake (although it does make it more commercial and sellable then merely calling it 'volume two') . Marble Hornets should, in my view, as an ongoing story which goes on for a hiatus for time to time and not a 'season' or a chapter. But, let's face it: it's infinitely better then most of anything then you saw on the box or at the multiplex in 2011 – and let's be honest, we'll weep when it's over.

DVD menus: Aren't they just gorgeous? Disc one was a nice representation of where we are now in the series and beautifully creepy (it's official: I'm in love, I'm replaying it right now) and disc two is just unsettling as hell. The menus to series one remains my absolute favourite, but I loved these and they were far more professionally can't wait for what we'll see in season three.

Commentary: No real complaints here, I really enjoyed it. Like season one, it struck a line between informing us about the production and general humorous irrelevance which the guys were so good at (arguably naturally so)

Shooting in the woods: Nice and a nice tease for the audience. God, Tim is a really good actor, isn't he? Jeez, his Masky face…that's going to be in my nightmares for awhile.

Oh. My. God. Hilarious and very informative. "This melon is my child…" Well, we don't have to wonder anymore about how the guys come up with creepy things, do we?

Marble Hornets trailer: Hilarious. ("Love is like three balls off a cliff…" "I feel like I'm wearing a mask…" I'm not a big fan of the boy's Youtube comedy, but they really pulled it off with this one.

Twitter: Sorry, this is my only real compliant. At (i.e. a lot of the time) the text was really just hard to read and sometimes indecipherable. Still, the background noise was great and it was a better system then last time.

I ordered my DVD's five days ago, and I'm expecting them tomorrow based on the "five to seven days" shipping information. If they do not come, I will be a very unhappy panda. Sad

Entry #28 Missing Audio

In Entry #28 on the DVD when Jessica talks to Jay and asks "have you been in something I've seen?" the audio cuts out. Does anyone else have this same issue here? Because on YouTube, he does say something.
