Arright, I didn't read through all 11 pages of comments, only some of them, so forgive me if I repeat something.

I loved this entreeeeee! The humor in it was a nice break from the usual seriousness of everything we've been seeing, and it was nice to see the guys being normal for once.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
And it was balanced nicely with the impending Slender doom

I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about the onset of a new batch of tapes (just like Jay), but I have to say I'm beginning to like the way the series jumps around in space and time. It's a nice parallel to what the characters are experiencing, and to the Slend himself.

I will also admit to lol'ing at "Ukelele with Tim attachment."

First off:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Am I the only one who jumped the first time The Operator appeared and didn't the second?

Anyway, I'm becoming more and more certain now that Tim wants Jay to find and look at these tapes (like someone mentioned before). I think the tapes we're going to see from Tim document his evolution into Masky, considering that I'm pretty sure this is the first time Tim ran into the Operator.

Repeating what other people said, but this was a great, funny entry and I think we're in store for a nice finish.

This is a great way to head with Season 3. I really miss the old 2006 vintage filming footage, and I hope that these tapes last us pretty long before Jay has to do more present-day investigating again.

I feel like Alex, Brian, and Tim sitting around and making music almost had the feel of EverymanHYBRID, in that it's a bunch of friends being chill with each other. It's very candid. Plus these guys are funny on their own, so that's cool.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first appearance of the Operator really took me by surprise. The second one scared the crap out of me, since we're not used to seeing it move like that. Crazy stuff, man.

What bothered me more than Tim's near-sightedness here was Alex's reaction at the very end. When someone says "you look so dramatic" to him, the expression on his face before the very end reminds me of his expression in Entry #46 when the Operator appeared. Something leads me to think that Alex knows something that Tim and Brian didn't.

As for the repetition of "movie guy", I think that's a very good clue. Tim probably watched these tapes before several times, and had his own phrase stuck in his head, and then said it to Jay because it seemed fitting. With the most recent totheark video, Reminder, which talks about not having forgotten and still being here, I think Tim is still playing Jay at the moment.

Great entry, though. A thrill to watch, and a very nice early chapter for the final season.[/spoiler]

It's blatant how hard Tim is playing Jay right now.

I personally don't see anything sinister about Alex's expression near the end of the tape.

Also, season 3 is going to be a /mix/ of found footage, and current-day investigation/mystery. I'm sure a modern-day entry isn't too far away.

I don't know. There's this perverse part of me that's still waiting for Jay to pull some sinister crap in these videos. Like what if he's the reason Tim is Masky in the first place?

I know, I know, it's a stretch. But man, would I love it.

This was a pretty stellar entry, not gonna lie. It's great to know that Seth still exists. Very Happy

The Operator's second appearance is the first time Marble Hornets scared me in a while. Old Troseph is back! I just hope that the story will remain as intriguing as it was in Season 2 while still being as scary as Season 1. I loved the throwback to Introduction.

I'm thinking the Operator was the cause of the power outage. None of the light switches in Brian's House worked, perhaps due to Operator meddling. I think Tim's Apartment is a similar case.

This answer to this is probably an obvious one that I haven't picked up on yet, but I'll ask anyway. Why exactly were they filming? At this point in time, there doesn't seem much of a reason to film each other whilst hanging around a house one night after shooting something earlier in the day.

They were shooting behind the scenes footage. If you mean why was this particular bit of Behind The Scenes was being filmed, I'm guessing it's because they were supposed to be working on the soundtrack. Since the music was apparently going to be keyboard, synthesizer, and ukelele, I can see why they might think future viewers might be curious about the process.

I was thinking something very different. It's possible that Tim lost his memories of being Masky and presumably lost a lot of his memories from 2006. What if his most "recent" memories came from the past few days and somewhere in 2006, with everything in between being wiped? Then he'd just remember "movie guy" as something he says around the Marble Hornets crew and just say it automatically. A long shot, maybe, but a possibility.

Not related: I'm not sure Tim is misleading Jay or manipulating him. He's acting strange and probably telling a few lies, but Jay lied to Jessica after being wiped. Jay didn't try to manipulate her any way, he just tried to fill the gaps with things that seemed faintly plausible. ("I'm making a documentary about hotels" is about as believable as "I guess I gave him the camera for some reason, but kept the tapes".) IMO both guys have been struggling with extreme memory loss and have issues trusting people.

I dunno you could end up being right. The Last Broadcast, anyone?

Haven't noticed anyone say this yet, but Jay is insanely irritable/paranoid when he meets up with Tim.

Yeah, he did seem a bit harsh in greeting Tim. He's also awkward but that's just Jay.

Someone asked about TTA's "Reminder" possibly playing audio from the brief running scene in the rain from this entry - just wanted to clarify that Reminder is actually playing the missing audio from Entry 10 again - the same audio from the Operator video.

It IS the same audio right?

To be fair, Tim is pretty rude himself imo.
