Rake Movie
Did not see a thread for it

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bj1E8DlNuW0

It's not my project, I just stumbled upon it. About 50 minutes long. Have not finished watching it yet, just thought I'd show it.

Here's the non-mobile link, for lazy people:

I'll have to check it out tomorrow when I have the time. The opening looked promising, acting-wise. Little worried about the criticism in the comments below about how little Rake mythology is incorporated into it, but I figure as long as the monster looks good, that should make up for it being a Bigfoot stand-in.

I'll make sure to put this in my schedule for later tonight. The premise sounds solid, and the quality doesn't look bad either.

This movie annoys me.
Warning: Horrible review. If you don't want to see negative criticism please avoid.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The protagonist is so annoying, we see the rake once, the whole story isn't solid. It's worse than the non-slendy scenes in Windigo

I thought it was ok, I got worried slightly when the friend went missing, but after that, it got a little dull. I think it's biggest flaw was that for a Rake film, it had little to do with The Rake, which should be priority number one. What made Rake scary was the fact he knew you, and he never stopped following you for your entire life. This film faltered because instead of being a creature that haunted victims for entire life times, it was just another Slender Man/Blair Witch/Bigfoot. Nothing wrong with those creature, but since Rake is less explored, he should be a little more original.
