 		Uh, in regards to who's who, I'm Mr. Credmire.
As for our contact, who is currently in hiding, some of the key Q/As were deleted.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's been stated that "they" refers to scarecrows, and their intention is brainwashing. This was derived from the reference to Wizard of Oz, and when asked "what is their intention", our contact replied "the opposite of what they wanted [in the movie]." or something to that effect.

They are currently searching for him, but our contact believes to be in a safe place, I'm assuming a library or lab.

I have theories on why the rain effect was included, mainly drawing on Oz references again, to signal avoidance to witches. I asked him about this, yet he hasn't answered my question.

Though this is merely restating, some choice words were found in the source code were "philadephia, experiment, past, and Map." There has also been a hope that the incident happening at the university isn't related, but you know in-game characters. Definitely an avenue for exploration. The last word Map is a curious one. Perhaps more Oz references?

Lastly, has anyone figured out the significance of "E. O." and 1826?

I checked the source code. The word "Map" is there only for structural purposes, I think. There doesn't seem to be any IG purpose for it.

 		That letter substitution code on page2 proved useful in decoding the avatar (ielsiuvs/default.jpg) & the E.O. image meaning (ielsiuvs/eo.png) on the ask.php page.
Solve for ielsiuvs.jpg and E.O. meaning

By adding two new coded letters l=g and v=w then "ielsi uvs" reads as "Eagle Owl" (E. O.) also known as "Nyctea Stephens 1826 " LINK

Personally, I can't find what connection lies between E.O. and the main page. Symbolically, the owl represents wisdom, mystery, transition, messages, intelligence, mysticism, protection, and secrets; many attributes we've seen since first knowing our contact. Minus the mysticism.

 		Hi everyone. I've been following this for a little while, along with this thread, and I felt it was time for me to introduce myself.

Has anyone taken time to look at the text on the main image? I don't know how significant it is, but I can make out, "Sometimes what we believe is devouring itself. Sometimes it becomes more..."but after that I'm lost.

 		A supposed military experiment? Hm, well, it's been stated that the people "aren't human", but that might not be meant literal. And to render people mindless, or remove their brains in a sense, would definitely be a valuable asset in terms of soldiers.

Also, there was a mention of the crew going back in time briefly. Perhaps an attempt to avoid the end of the world?

Read that yesterday.

Based on the site and the Philadelphia Experiment article, this seems like some sort of subsidiary of that department of research. However, seeing as they didn't have the internet back then, it doesn't seem plausible.

Maybe this a modern-day version of what they were trying to accomplish in that era. Breaking the laws of science in order for militaristic research is a theme that carries between the Philly Experiment and this ARG.


I'm still confused about what the owl nonsense is about, though.

While in the context of this ARG/nARG or whatever, the already-stated findings on E.O. seem more likely, I can shed some light on what I originally thought.
1826 was the first year that a presidential Executive Order (E.O.) was recorded, and presidential E.O.s have been recorded ever since, since 1826.

That's quite the observation. It actually helps quite a bit support the Philadelphia Experiment aspect.

Any information is good information, please keep continuing the work!
