 		We keep seeing Africa...Led me to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo_sapiens_idaltu

When I did a search for "first humans."
Idaltu keeps popping up along with Afar Triangle (Ethiopia)
Not sure that is means anything, but because I kept seeing it, I had to try something. I am at work so it's tought to keep researching it...
ANyone else hit anything?
Especially because of the new tweeted image of earth and Africa.

The coordinates of the Afar Triangle are 11.5N, 41.0E. Could this be a password for something coming out on the 11th?

It is also close to Arabia. This may not seem relevant but the Weyland Industries motto "Big things have small beginnings" comes from T.E. Lawrence, aka Lawrence of Arabia! This info might lead to something...

 		Putting it out there now -> Prometheus press footage screenings are tomorrow in London and Wednesday in Paris, also Discovering Prometheus update is on Wednesday, therefore judging by their tweets, the next Project Prometheus clue/lead will be on the Discovering Prometheus app. Perfect time for the David 8 announcement...

This quote could be translated as the inevitable downfall of the Weyland Corporation (since it seems like the company is 'King' in its domain)...since the profiles of both Peter Weyland and the Weyland Corporation seem a little too perfect, this must be a hint for us to start searching for a mistake the company made or a flaw in Peter Weyland's character that could lead to the company failing.

Honestly I think it is David...reason for the A22s? And maybe even reason for merger with Yutani eventually?

Was it written on the pictogram image module of the Discovering Prometheus FB page before to "Keep an eye out to see the pictograms appear where new reveals from the film will debut" ?

I tried to catch a good image of the pictogram and did a google image search for it, but no matches.

Yes, that's from the Week 1 pictogram description. Here's the whole thing:

The beginning of that description paraphrases what Holloway and Shaw present to the rest of the team at the beginning of the International trailer. I'd guess there'll be a pictogram included with each of the upcoming week's reveals. I'm not quite sure what they mean by "the pictograms appear where new reveals from the film will debut" - whether they're saying the pictogram will appear 1st (a way of saying click here for clue) or whether they mean simply as part of the weeks images/content revealed.

The Week 1 pictogram GIF is a hodge podge of pic/info from Shaw/Holloways presentation at the beginning of the International trailer. The pictogram in the GIF is the "ISLE OF SKYE" pictogram from the trailer. The date in the GIF is "1760 BCE" which is the date for the "HITTITE" pictogram in the International trailer. The map graphic in the GIF seems to indicate a location in North Vietnam or China, that doesn't match any of the 7 locations from the International trailer.

No idea, again, if these are mistakes, or some type of clue to assemble pieces from the pictograms/images as we go along.

I was without internet for the past 10 days but I'm glad I haven't missed too much (though sorry that it has been slow for you guys). I have checked the wiki in case I had missed anything significant (didn't want to get trouted lol).

Being without internet was like losing a limb Mad

However, I am back now and hope things get going again soon.

Yes, I realized there are pictograms in the trailers, but didn't know this one is a mash up. Thought they might have been making it a challenge to catch it when the refresh bar was out of the way, and the stars lit. And thought it might be out there as a pointer in the internet somewhere. Maybe still.

More spoiler speculation: First humans in Africa were manipulated to become future hosts for our alien friends-perhaps by space jockeys. Our travel to their planet means dinner is ready, and they are coming back to earth in on the big ship we see, loaded in those stacks and stacks of barrel objects. Trailer shows crew being infected- maybe Earth would be on massive scale if alien ship makes it. The trailer also seems to show that it doesn't.

Seems to me trailers are giving away an awful lot of the movie.

 		not sure whether it meant anything but the stars in the GIF below seem to be lit in a specific order (with the top and bottom stars at left lit last)...



there are 48 frames in the GIF image but there doesn't seem to be any hidden info there...

Edit: on second look, the stars seem to form a tilted "K" Smile
