This entry is why I love MH. Every entry is designed specifically to make us think X just so they can throw a wrench saying Y later on.

Nothing at all to do with the actual important stuff in this video, but at about 1:49 to 1:55, can anyone tell what that black thingy is in the background by the door of the apartment? I'm pretty sure that it's just some sort of art or decoration or light fixture or something. My brain said "hoodie" for about the first two seconds of visibility, but it doesn't look like that under repeated viewings. And it always gets fuzzy when I try to go to fullscreen mode for a better viewing.

What a fucking joke this entry was. Undeniably the worst entry in the series.
Only good part was when Alex told Brian to lean back stare straight up and look like he was thinking, made me think of return

They aren't going to make the story seem like it's all Tim's fault, don't worry.

Worse than the red tower entry?

I'd tend to agree with pravado on this. There was hardly any information here, nothing to grab our attention; all we know is that Tim has been sick a while, but that could mean it's not Slendersickness in his case, it could mean he's been involved for a long while, or it could mean the Operator has been stalking him as well for years. We hardly got anything here.

Guys, this whole series is about suspense. We aint gonna get a revelation each entry.

Really guys?
This entry shows us that there are more factors at play than just "Alex met the Operator and the whole thing just snowballed from there". Perhaps it's a mix of bad ideas of various characters that eventually led to the Slendering.
The visual callback to the Program video was neat, as was Jay finally getting his balls together and acknowledging Tim being Masky.
This entry can't be possibly as bad as some of the season 1 filler! Besides, remember how weak #38 felt at the time it went up but then made an impact as the missing pieces were revealed. Maybe you'll like this one better if we know more

Cool I guess... I guess you think this entry was a joke, but there might be real information here...yeah...
EDIT 1: I agree with everyone when they say that this happens a few days before entry 51. I didn't realize that at first But why doesn't Alex
exhibit any symptoms after being near slendy for over a decade? Tim (I'm
guessing) hasn't known slendy for long, but he has symptoms. Maybe it's because Alex has built up an immunity over all those years. In that case, we need to bind slendy in a cell, and get all the people from the UNIVERSE to stay there for a decade. I don't know how we can fit everyone there, but that's NASA's problem, not mine.
Also, why would they show those buildings in an earlier episode if nothing was going to happen?

Someone has pointed this out already but I'm going to put a bit more emphasis on it:
In entry 51 Brian asks how Alex found the burned out hospital.. He doesn't ask things like: "was this the old hospital Tim was talking about?" or something like that. Alex responds by saying he found it the day before with Seth (who isn't there because he felt "sick")
So Brian doesn't remember that Tim said anything about it in entry 55 .
I'm guessing shit went down that saturday, possibly Tim lured them out there.
However: seeing Tim wants to get help makes me believe he doesn't want to be under the influence of the operator. So that rules out Tim being fully slenderised...
Also, please keep in mind that Enttry 37 probably was posted by TTA so we can't take it for a fact that Alex was stalked by the Operator when he was a kid. It could all just misleading us. One things is sure: Right before Marble Hornets Tim was the only one who was being stalked (maybe even when he was a kid, seeing he has history with the symptoms of slendersickness. As for Jessica: it is possible she was just having bad dreams. Feeling vulnerable could make you dream you are a child again. (Of course it's entirely possible that the three were stalked from childhood, but I don't feel like we can take it as fact just yet).
Bottom line: awesome Entry, cleared out some things about Tim. I guess he doesn't understands/forgot that he is stalked by a unknown entity and thinks he is just going insane.

It's the first time I post on this forum and I'm not even English so forgive me for any kind of mistake.
I'm just re-watching Entry 51, and Alex says that building is an old "doctor-office or something" and thay "can just say that it's like Brian's old elementary school".
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So I think that Brian doesn't remember anything that happened in Entry 55. Something happened between these two entries, and I hope these few tapes left can explain everything.

well duh, operator encounters lead to a loss of memory. the only reason jay and alex can recall what happened to them was because they were on tape. otherwise they'd have no idea. its possible this entry is right before 54 and that night the operator got them, and then 52 was soon after that.
