What Would You like to see in a Slender series\arg?

 		I was wondering something, and it goes along with the theme of this thread.

What kind of proxy(s) would you guys like to see? I've seen how a lot of people dislike proxies in certain series, and was wondering how they could be improoved. Are there certain kinds you guys prefer, are there things some do that you like, but others do not?

I'm bored of standard brainwashed/hollowed people in masks doing whatever they think slendy wants them to do.
Hence why any and all proxy type characters I come up with will have some degree of freedom or just be supernatural entities in their own right.
the only good standard proxy I can think of (not including stuff like in CaughtNotSleeping because they are NOT proxies) is Victor from MyDarkJournal

 		I've always liked the Observer type of Proxies, how it seems they have powers like you said.

I haven't watched MDJ yet because of some bad reviews I read about it, but if you suggest it for the betterment of my series, I will watch it.

I am a massive MyDarkJournal fanboy. but keep in mind that most of the storyline is in crossovers and on the two side channels (and the blog)

 		I'm hoping the proxies in my series are going to be different, though I suspect they're actually quite similar to most. The biggest difference is one I can't say without spoiling unfortunately.

But yeah, advice on how to make proxies better would be good, I have my own ideas on where they're headed, but more ideas can always be incorporated.

if I were you...read the blog from the start, as that includes all the MDJ uploads and just check on the other channels when they are referenced Smile

This may seem stupid but it seems like MyDarkJournal is doing the same thing as CompileTruth is, only in a violent and kind of "Habitish" type manner. Just something I thought of after watching the CompileFEAR video.

Personally I think 'proxies' are overdone and just plain stupid. Slendy should be about killing people, not turning them into film student slaves.

Still, if you must, try and work a sense of duality into them. We hardly ever get to see ones that are fully aware of what they are doing but are unable to stop themselves.

You mean their mind is working, but their body is controlled by something else?

I like it... They can see what they are doing, and know it's horrible, yet they can't stop themselves from doing it...

 		slendy should NOT be about killing people...seriously... I don't want this mythos descending into hollywood slasher films... Slendy should be more focused on causing insanity and on children, rather than killing as many as he can. Slendy set out to plainly kill gives him PURPOSE...and I prefer a more ambiguous slendy with co-workers and understudies with more clear ideals and methods

Its not like I was suggesting that Slendy bursts into your room in the dead at night with chainsaws in each tentacle, that would just be stupid.

My point was that I feel the mythos has gotten sidetracked in regards to our tall friend. Slendy's lost a lot of the quiet aura of menace that he exuded near the beginning, when no one knew just how or when the faceless thing looking in your window was going to get you, but it was you knew that this thing wanted you dead. (or worse than dead) Nowadays El Slendo just stands in the background like a bewildered tourist. He/she/it doesn't do ANYTHING but stand there. A think a little proof of the creature's sinister intentions wouldn't go amiss now and then, don't you think?
