So guys, think about this; if Jay is right about Alex going through the same thing Tim did... Wouldn't that mean that Alex may have become maskified since season2?

Imagine the horror of a Masky we know will go after Jay. Shocked

If your indicating that Alex and Tim went through the *exact* same thing (which I highly doubt) then Alex would have been a Masky since before Jay even started posting entries.

jay really should have wrote down the phone number that gave him the "anonymous tip" about brian and spent all his time tracking that down, it would have given him more answers

The "anonymous tip" was probably TTA in one form or another.

my theory is that alex gave him the tip. alex clearly knew about the channel (entry 26 is proof of this) in season 1, and we knew slendy was in the house that night (jays coughing fit). alex probably sent him there to get snagged up, or somehow wanted to scare him into stopping the investigation. i think alex believed jay had no leads until he saw the interview with tim, and alex probably remembered that tim had a set of tapes himself (doubt they thought about this way back when but i like the way my theory ties the story together)

and i think i finally understand the entry 22 tape: alex put it there to make jay think that he was innocent in everything. alex could have been the only one in posession of that tape

i still want to know why tim led him into the bathroom though

alex basically tells jay he sent him the package... you can make out something like "you weren't exactly hard to find .... leave a package at your door"
