Using The Rabbits as an example was fuckin' perfect and a good point that was waved off on a technicality.

As for the rest, I appeared on screen in MDJ for roughly eight seconds total and Osiris Chronicles for maybe four. I have no knowledge of how the series is going to end, or of anything that I wasn't directly involved in.

Sadly it means I as a fan and friend am now banned from those threads as well, apparently.

I also provided 2-3 lines of voice for an unknown number of vlogs. As before I know nothing about the series beyond what any viewer would. I cannot in good faith then, post in them ever again without breaking a rule.

Well this is just peachy according to some ridiculous technicality I am now unable to post in threads for a couple of major vlogs, and about three or four up and coming ones despite having no more knowledge about them than anyone else because I, like Verdett decided to participate in a small way and provide help in a rough patch.

P.S. Is Coffee Collie able to post in the EMH thread? How 'bout green feathers? (For all I know they're not members on UF?)

(Note: To the aforementioned users, I have no problem with you doing that. I'm just pointing out, under risk of suspension/banning, that there's a dumb ass rule being enforced here blindly when clearly there ought to be exceptions.)

P.S.S. I'm also not trying to give the mod who listed the rule shit. I just think the rule is shit because frankly it discourages participation, and what with this being a forum dedicated to ARGs, INTERACTIVE FICTION and such, that's just ignorant.

I am not trying to make enemies here by doing a job I volunteered for. I'm not trying to be a bad guy, and I'm not saying you can't post in those threads if you legitimately know nothing other than that one line you were asked to do. Try looking at it from my perspective. I don't follow every single series. I don't know how characters get brought in to each one. I do know about the Rabbits, and that is why I waved it off; because they do not know anything special about the series. Verd said he was just a glorified fan, and if that's all it was, great! But if someone comes to me with a complaint, I check it out. In this case, I see someone who appears to be a character, who appears to know what is going on, posting in a thread about the series they have appeared in. I am talking to Verd about what happened, and framing it all within the Terms of Service within this site. You can continue to be mad all you want, but your anger is not discussion about the series, so you can direct it to my PM box or take it up with the admins.

And as a final note:
I concede that I was wrong about how his character was brought in. As long as it was just a one-time thing, and he doesn't post about the video he was in, Verd can still post here.
