 		I don't think this idea has been mentioned here. Could #2 be a compass rose of sorts - North, East, South, West - and some type of map? I haven't had much extra time lately for anything - but thought I'd throw the idea out there just in case someone else thinks it's a possibility and wants to look into it.

 		The Orobas tweets said not all runes have meaning you seek and only four matter. Maybe only the four that are associated with gods are important???

Don't know how this connects with not being fixed though. I think I'm gonna quit thinking about it.

Maybe the runes don't represent Futhark runes, and the Futhark is just a form of stylized lettering (like using Cyrillic to write English words).

Going with the previous line of thought, maybe the runes have to be re-arranged into a word?

Perhaps combining some of Runes to make new ones.

*eta You could also take the +(cross) out of the middle, turn it a bit to make it an X which would be the letter G, or combine with the diamond shape(ng) symbol, to make another O. Dunno

 		Maybe its like a jigsaw. Take four runes, combine them with the Odin cross to create a new central symbol and that is the meaning we are looking for?

Edit for another idea
Spin the cross to pick out the required runes. The only ones I can see that line up translate to S A K O. Feel free to check my geometry.

I think that looks promising, for KAOS/CHAOS. I'm leaving for a softball game, so I did submit KAOS just in case.

It was. I had tried a bunch of 4 rune words using one from each quadrant but had not thought of that one. I'm not sure who was first.
