Not entirely sure the proper path has been fully illuminated yet.

So i still haven't figured out the proper way to access the Meta Puzzle, but i did find a way to get to it. I have tried
NATHAK
BEGIN
Ursa Major

what do you mean by the 4 month glyphs? the ones at the bottome of the first authorization code = NATHAK.

I tried the literal meaning of the glyphs since in reality they are month glyphs but i was going to try nathak as well, now theres no need to :)

I also tried pegasus and Square of Pegasus, so those are no good either

I just wanted to ask if anyone who hasn't spoken up has actually gotten past the first metapuzzle question? You don't need to post any hints if you don't want to, but I am just curious if like MrToasty said the answer really hasn't been revealed yet.

Has anyone actually figured out the correct way to the site or has everyone just found the way around it?

Here is the "star" pattern in the bowl, in case anyone wanted a better view.

nodnetni: There is a legitimate way to get to the site (starting with the 7 glyphs), but there are so many ways to bypass it that it really doesn't matter.

And my understanding is that no one has gotten past the first question.

They don't want to give away the prize

By providing so much information that may or not be relevant - glyph wall, star maps, terminal code, etc. - and only 3 attempts per day to guess, it would appear that they don't want anyone to get the prize(s). If there are 6 questions like these we will never get them by May 1. Just my $0.02.

I think they just want to make it hard(Impossible) to solve until May1 st . At which point things will get a lot easier. They want to get the full advertisement value out of it.

I cant imagine they don't want to give away $7,000 when they are also having a drawing for $100,000 on the Battleship game.

So, aside from the one image that they apparently want us to diligent enough to wait for, what is the point of the cup(s) of water and where are the other 3?

Has anyone plugged this in to goggle maps?
34° 3' 8" N / 118° 14' 34" W

I figured it would point to an observatory, but it points to a spot in front of the Los Angeles General Services Department.
The point is labeled:
3rd
Manila, Philippines

Probably just a coincidence, but kind of interesting.

On another note, anyone have any luck with the sequence? Or maybe want to share what didn't work?

would be funny if we had to overlay the constellation on top of the console osx strings then pull the letters from the dots...

The stars must mean something, not sure about the pictures though, it is to hard to pick out stars/constellations in them.

There seems to be an order to the blinking of the stars too, so maybe that has to do with it.

I did find out two things, an ancient culture use to set bowls of water out at night in order for the moon to wash her face and another would use the bowls as a way to look at an eclipse(but i believe that is solar).

I doubt they are limiting this contest to coders so i there wouldn't be much in to take away from the actual text displayed.

Remember that you need to answer all of the Bar Tndr's puzzles to get a chance at winning my $5,000 grand prize or the 2 $1,000 runner up prizes (for, this is how we destroy the Edesia Machine). Go back to the Butterfinger timeline to find out what the puzzles were, and go to the Bar Tndr's site to answer them.
Pointing us back at the FunForHumans puzzles? Not sure how the clue for #1 points there.
