Some speculation just for kicks: Tim is freaked out about Alex's weird behavior, his sleeplessness, etc and says to Alex, "Hey, why don't I shoot some behind-the-scenes footage" as opposed to "Hey, maybe I should be filming what's happening too"? I know someone mentioned that this is very likely the source of at least some of the TTA footage... Maybe Tim's been filming more than just "behind-the-scenes," and for longer than Alex has been aware of it, because he already had some suspicion brewing. I have to agree with GGOA and posse here too when he says Tim is definitely acting strange in more ways than one, even before Alex pipes him.

Hoo! Just watched. I'm trying to fiddle around with the wall, but alas, my image-enhancing tools and skills are lack. So far it looks like "The Nurse" is written at the top, and I think I can make out "The Key" at the bottom towards the left--although maybe that's just wishful thinking. On the bottom right, I see "Paper."

I almost don't want to put too much emphasis on this--after watching MH for so long I'm leery about assuming anything or anyone will provide any sort of answer.

Anyone else think it was a little weird Tim pointed the camera at himself while going to pee? I know there was a wall, but still, I don't know if I'd do that, were I in his position. Of course, it might have been done for the purpose of filming Alex whaling on him with a pipe.

I don't know if I believe Alex specifically lured Tim out here with the intention of causing harm to him.

It is obvious Alex doesn't have a good answer to Tim's questions about why they're at the site: Tim is the one who works his way to deciding that it's for scouting places to shoot and Alex simply agrees with him--but that means he hasn't prepared an explanation in advance. Personally, if I was going to sacrifice someone to an eldritch abomination, I would make sure I had some explanation for why I was dragging them off somewhere alone on hand. Between that and the lack of a weapon like others have mentioned, I think that Alex doesn't arrive at the site knowing exactly what's going to happen there.

He does seem to know something is amiss, though, and when he sees the symbol it apparently clues him in entirely. Perhaps his attempts to get Tim to go to another location are really attempts to get him out of the building and presumably somewhere safer without risking himself by saying that there's danger. We know that Slendy shows up at the annex later, but Alex doesn't. Or maybe when they got outside he would have made for the car instead. Instead, though, Tim gets pissed because he doesn't understand why Alex is so upset and of course Alex can't just tell him. Maybe he believes that Slendy will kill him instead if he shows open resistance.

The way Alex picks up the pipe (or whatever we eventually decide that is) and walks over to hit Tim seems extremely relaxed in contrast to his tense posture and attitude the rest of the episode. The Operator might be outright controlling him here. I don't think he's in full control of his actions at any rate even if he does have some influence.

After this, though, he definitely knows what's going on. I'm not sure I can be wholeheartedly angry with him for going along with it, though. If I thought some impossible monster would do horrible things to me, worse than I could imagine, unless I brought my friends to it so it could do horrible things to them... I honestly don't know if I'd have the courage to even try to resist.

tl;dr: Alex didn't plan this out in advance. He was mind-controlled into doing it. After this event though there's no way he didn't know what was happening.

We have Tim, Brian, and Seth all scheduled to be slendy-struck in this building, and we believe at least 2 of them to be TTA.
If Tim becomes Masky because of this, then doesn't it follow that either Brian or Seth become Hoodie shortly afterwords as well?

Also, the ark obviously has some connection to Alex and Slendy, so wouldn't this seem the perfect time to introduce it? TTA's goal is getting the ark so they'd have to learn about it fairly early on, and considering Alex is the only logical person they'd have learned of it from... Perhaps the ark will be brought up soon?

Could this entry be the precursor to TTA's Advent, in other words?

I do not get so many turns around how Tim recovers the camera ... stands dazed, looks around and sees a camera on the ground, he has to pass in front of it to reach the stairs, why not take it? Exit the building and is lying in the middle of nowhere, a long walk on the railway of the nearest place where you can leave a car .... tired, maybe at night ... best to seek other shelter ... with his blanket and all ...

Well, on the other hand, I have not seen any comments from the pictures of the column that I noted in my previous post, of any kind. Regardless of pareidolia on one side, on the other is read perfectly "watching", something odd when you consider that at the last video of TTA, "decay" complacent face silhouette is accompanied by the text "always watching ". If the text in the pillar was no longer there? if they have been introduced to the shooting?
