I'm stumped so far. :/ Everything I've tried hasn't really revealed much. And I can't get anything meaningful from the latin in the txt docs

ok... i got it. my first MAJOR solve.
the LBESh.txt riddle:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the blank spaces after the words are the clue. if you copy it into word and use the arrow keys to scroll through the blanks some are larger and some single spaces. using the large jumps as a seperator and adding the single spaces you get:

L is large space then the total before the next large is the digit.

The hint is here, L 4 L 7
but not in the words. L 3 L 5 L 7
...Look real hard. L 5
giving you 473575 or flipping it (remembering what we learned so far) SLSELh. which leads to https://www.dropbox.com/sh/o09t4pmlkca0mmm/Bvqu1vs0gQ#f:SLSELh.jpg.
the bianary decodes to 504973. flipping that leads to ELbhOS https://www.dropbox.com/sh/o09t4pmlkca0mmm/B5kXC5eITJ/ELbhOS.txt

That has the link to our next clue https://www.dropbox.com/s/0bi20csnic3n92q/aawegh28945.jpg

***EDIT***
MIssed this post from amandel sorry. you were so close if we knew hwere to look from there.
Yaha, Super interesting & Marcus seems charming. For now am only posting at uF. Noticed the ERROR pic (SLSELh.jpg) from the photo data base has some binary:
Binary and its decode Spoiler (Rollover to View):
001101010011000000110100001110010011011100110011...that decodes to "504973"

Yeah, I have them in order as well, but can't seem to make anything before or after turning "like a clock." Even tried turning the whole row.

[And my name just happens to sound like Calvin Kingsley. Pure coincidence]

Got me stumped. I have them in order but nothing jumps out. Even taking into about the new blog entry. The only point I am not sure how to include is the '4 letters each' bit. Also, James' neutral position for the square is different from image aawegh28945. In the notes from the blog, the square is the mirror image of the one in aawegh. I have written to Marcus about it let's see.

Update:
Marcus has responded. It appears that the square in the aawegh28945 image is in the correct orientation.

Hey everybody. I've been following along with you guys but have had nothing to contribute until now. I think I have figured out the Houx language code. I will attach the key I made and spoiler the explanation.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I arranged the shapes in the order described in the "aawegh" page (Triangle, Claw, Arrow, Dome, Square, Circle, Trench) and then rotated each one clockwise 90 degrees three times to generate 4 orientations for each shape. The triangles represent A-D, the claws represent E-H, etc. The trench will only use two orientations. The "neutral position" for Y and an unknown orientation for Z. On my key I assumed a 90 degree rotation. Using this key on the second page that Marcus posted gives the message

THEHOUX
LANGUAGE
ISNOW
ENTRWSTED
QOYOU

Fixing the spelling errors gives "The Houx langauge is now entrusted to you".

I have sent Marcus an email about this... I'll post his reponse .

Edit: Response revealed nothing interesting so I won't bother posting. Marcus posted his Houx language key on his blog and my Z is incorrect. If anybody looks at my attachment please note that the symbol for Z is a horizontal mirror image of Y instead of the rotation I show.

Brilliant LM...THX! Marcus has a valuable Update incl. a link to the Houx Clan Memorial site and an audio file which simply needed to be reversed to become intelligible.

ETA: The Houx Harp on their Documents page has an interactive surprise so be sure to check it out. Smile Being curious I decoded the middle Houx writing on the tree.
Leaving the other 2 Houx writings for others to have fun with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Houx writing carved into the tree reads: this tree makes strong wood

LatentMoths - thanks for working out the Houx language and providing a key - impressive!

The message on the stone:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The harp is interesting.

Hey all I'm new to this type of gaming, but I'm having fun following along with you. I decifered all three of the pictures, the top one is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The forest prospers with lite

I also sent a contact form to the Houx Clan Memorial asking for more information on the instrument. Not sure if anything will come from it.
