I'm here at the 0900 axon in Brandon, FL. Despite standing at the phone for 20 minutes, it never rang. I ran upstairs in the library to login to recipe7 and it is now hot.
GRRRR!

these text markers are block text showing up on the recipe page by the wav file and axon coords in red with yellow type. They change as we go - as one text marker is read back to melissa correctly it disappears and a new one evetually shows up - THIS IS TODAYS RELAY GAME!!!!
I apologize for the explination delay - was trying to piece together info

why do the text markers have times though? Have we talked to anyone who was at 8:17, or 9:00, who talked to Mellissa live, to find out if she brought up the text markers..maybe someone had to choose a it? Maybe it's not random

I'm at the other Brandon one and it took a good minute past the scheduled time to ring. Normally that one rings on the dot.
Hrm.

I recieved a live axon call at 8:17pdt.
BEcause of distance between my house and the axon (30 min) I was not able to check the site befire the axons went live. she asked me if i knew about the "text Marker" that she put on the ilvebees.com web site
and i told her i didnt know. at this point i assume that the text marker might be needles, all she told me was that i had to tell the crew
and that i needed to find help, she told me i had one hour,

GAHH! I went to the same one I've been ANSWERING FOR TWO MONTHS without realizing they created a new location. Too bad I won't be available for the one that is actually here later. Nice job snagging that one!

Well, I'll be answering the 10:36 Axon of a_soldier. Have to drive up there soon, so I guess I'll call buzzkill and see if there is any text markers for that time.

Live call today Here's a recording of my live conversation with Melissa today. It is not a good recording ... she is always so quiet live and the street noise has been particularly loud on the two occassions when I've gotten a live call . You'll probably need headphones to hear her clearly, and then you'll have to listen to my annoying voice super-loud .
Take home messages:
* She was very lenient with me. I wasn't really sure what the right answer to her opening question was, but it apparently is bees, and she let me fumble a couple of tries. It's nice to know that the quality of mercy remains unstrained, even in the mind of a Navy A.I. .
* She was pretty lenient about the text marker thing too. It's already been pretty widely explained, but the idea for those who receive live calls is to know what the current text marker is on the site, which looks to be a code phrase printed in rather large letters somewhere on www.ilovebees.com with an accompanying time stamp. Eventually my mind got around to thinking that was what she was asking me to say. She was pretty clear she would not be that lenient again.
* Most important is some information about her broadcasting an event as it happens on an usual day (i.e. not Tuesday): Something very special is going to happen on this coming Sunday, and it sounds like it is going to happen in real-time (whatever that is) and we will be able to witness it in some way. Woo!

I'm a new recruit and I'm still trying to get the backround story completely but I went to an Axon Point today and the phone never rang. I followed mapquest coordinates and the time was right. Never rang.

Info will be kept up to date on the META axon coordination page

First timer here, I tried getting to an AXON about 6 weeks ago and failed. Tried again at a different one and got the 8:51 one up and running. I answered "the Flea" and she took it....at least I think she did. She played the "go_home" clip and then I heard something about hardware incompatibility and a bunch of people saying "i love bees" and it hung up.
