GreenFeathers just tweeted: "Finished. The ink-ribbon transcript is now viewable in the comments section of its photobucket image."

Quote:
10.28.1980 Where are you, my beloved? Where are you now in my darkest time of need, oh protector? After all the turmoil I went through to ensure my children, our family, a protected and loving life, you dare let such to hell with it. I'll continue writing in a few hours, Stephanie's now safe in bed. The whiskey's worn off. It's become quite apparent that we should look in to weaning her off the medicinal regimen; it's become far too complicated for a girl of her age to keep in order. I haven't written about the events since. The children were just having breakfast. Mary and I were in the living room, talking about replacing furniture, when Jeffrey came running down the stairs. My veins froze when he cried, tears streaming down his face, "Steph's dead! Steph's dead!"

HABIT choosing us to read that ink ribbon.. Can't be a good sign for Steph.

I 100% agree. I'm pretty sure based on that that Jeff is going to discover what happened to her.

That happened in 1980. Probably to another Steph.

I think if he was going to kill her she wouldn't have gotten knocked up. He's got another one in the oven and he needs her alive.

It sounded to me like Steph hadn't actually died, and had merely been mistaken as dead by Jeff. Which would actually be a good sign, I think. Especially because HABIT seems to have a vested interest in keeping her alive.

To me it sounds like an attempt at suicide by Fairmont Steph, transcribed by the good doctor. As if she took too much of her medication plus whiskey on top of it (but survived). I suppose that's what he meant by her medical regimen being to complicated for her to control.

But who is "my beloved"? It sure as hell does not sound like he's talking about Mary Corenthal, does it? "My protector"? Did he make a deal with... something?

EDIT:
OK, maybe it was Corenthal who got drunk off the whiskey after Steph overdosed. It could certainly be that the first part of the letter was written in a sort of drunken fashion. Corenthal's writing has a tendency to be a bit purple-prosey anyway...

ANNOYED AS CRAP EDIT: Why won't this forum let me post twice in the same thread? I usually have to wait hours to be able to post again...

Anyway, another thing I noticed: the very very fresh blood handprint on the ladder in GF's vid. Habby most def did NOT have bloody hands that I could see. I wonder if he made Jeff climb it and put the knife/etc. at the top. And he must have just done it, too, for the blood to be so wet (and for Habby to still be hangin' around).

Urgh. My heartstrings.
This looks like two different letters and two ribbons as well, meaning HABIT only allowed us to read so much of each. I hope she's still alive and well.

EDIT: @Device- You make very good points.

This is after his "something is terribly wrong, indeed" reaction to teleportation. Five years after. It's not infeasible that, in that time, he could have come to some arrangement.

I would suspect more of an unknowing arrangement. He seemed to still be baffled by Slenderman and his abilities in his dealings with Milo. However, we have seen Slenderman act to keep the four of them safe and together... for a time, at least. Perhaps his interest in their well-being had just ended.

If this is indeed the case, his choice of words in the first two sentences are so...reverent. Loving, even. The way one might refer to their deity of choice. So yeah, what did happen after the Memory Town incident? The wording is probably irrelevant within the bigger picture and all, but I wanted to mention it all the same.

Yeah, we know. It's Fairmount Steph, from their last iteration. All the Corenthal papers are about the the Fairmount Four, not the four we're following right now.

Not sure if it was meant to signify anything but in the Resident Evil series ink ribbons are used as save points. If it isn't intentional, then it is certainly an odd choice for inclusion to me.

FUCK, this didn't cross my mind!! It actually could be a way to "cheat" the EMH universe, and wort trying!! We know that the EMH-verse kinda functions... in some way/shape/form like a videogame. So this could be a way to do something about it!! Surprised

Looking at the GF images now.

So the good Doctor is have prophetic dreams of stuff that happens decades later?

Sounds a lot like another person/thing we know.

edit: And yeah, sounds like Corenthal made a deal. My first instinct was to assume it was Slendy.

But I wonder if it went down differently. And now I'm wondering what Corenthal could have possibly offered Slendy/Habit to make a deal(and then I look at what I typed before this...)

He's not just having prophetic dreams - it's like his gaze = the camera lens.

Curious.

Okay, so other people are starting to possibly make the "camera" and/or Slenderman connection then? I am still really unsure about it. But a lot of the wording was interesting. Like not being able to see Linnie's face, only being able to observe, not being able to move.
Big tree, that one. No idea what to make of it. I'm letting stuff gestate.

The "Slendertweets" calling the kids "my children" did hint, to me, at a connection with Corenthal. Totally.

But I always rather saw the "demons" connected to the kids, individually. So... I think there is a connection, somehow, but I have no idea how so.

CandleJeff's comment about "one of them" in the Candleverse kinda... it almost made it seem there is more than one Slendercreature. As if we are them.

Corenthal dreaming up the irl circumstances also makes me think of the clips the NJ-Four cannot see (and when they are exposed to them, something bad happens). We are made seeing them, and when the four come in contact with them, a memory of the past is played out via their bod-

hey...

HEY; WAIT A SECOND!!

What if this IS just like a computer game, the kids are sort of the consoles, the "souls" are the different safe-games, and there are various ways to access the game, one of them via sleeping, one of them via the "hidden videos" etc. etc. etc.?

Is HABIT the... the PLAYER of this game??????????????????????
Looking back at games like GTA or this one where the possessed guy can run through the street and cause horrible things to happen... what if HABIT is the player of a game... and what we see IS the game?? And we are kind of HABIT's bros that watch over his shoulder??
