7zip absolutely doesn't register it as any kind of archive, though. I think that WinRAR error message is itself in error.

Am I wrong in thinking that the code at the end of 12 hex? should I be trying to put it into something else?

Also, loaded Ubuntu for some LiveCD haxory to change the files over, and it still came up with nothing for the 18-13 series.... :/ I'm lost. However he posted a picture that said BE PATIENT with a jigsaw puzzle piece background. I don't think the game proper has started.

Thanks ieisuk & those who checked out #18. Have begun to believe that's an empty zip folder meant to suggest that Mitch lost control to whatever was stalking him. The new 32 character strings in the JFIF don't resolve to anything meaningful for me. Since the NPC has chosen to be unavailable guess I'll take a looksee on Sunday.

Good finds, ieisuk. I came; I saw & I'm befuddled re #0 containing a zip archive called "---.tar.gz" that ultimately opens the below text file which I can't decode.

UPDATE: After reading the Wiki Tar File Info I'd caution against trying to SAVE the Tar file or its "---.txt" file on your comp unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Since I don't know who this PM is I may be done with this blog now.

Okay, thanks for the heads up on the tar file thingy, I think I got a solution to keep my computer safe. (Gotta love Ubuntu Live CD function, doesn't even need to touch my hard drive Wink

) But yeah, I can fuck around with it and use a USB stick as my mounted hard drive incase it tries some funny stuff.

As far as the tar.gz goes, I'm aware of it being the old school way of installing shit on linux (though package managers have seemed to have done away with that).
