 		So, back in February when we were wondering what the hell had happened to Alex, I decided to email him asking if he was still alive. Don't ask me why, but I emailed him in binary because hey, it's Slendy, and who bothers with plain English any more and I thought it would be a more noticeable email that might get a response. Well, since Alex was confirmed dead I didn't think any more of it, until this morning when I got a reply...



I swear on whatever you hold dear that this is not fake, I just thought I should obviously share it as it seems very strange. My first thought is that his account has been hacked by someone else. Has anyone else received an email from his account?

In my initial email I asked "If you are alive, please respond." This reply reads "I will always be here, but not really here"

If you still don't believe me, you can give me your email address, and I will forward the email to you, then you can confirm with everyone else that it's not fake.

It definitely isn't HABIT... perhaps it's the same [slender]person who was twitter battling HABIT that one time.
Also, didn't canyouseethewords.tumblr.com used to be just canyouseethewords.com, or am I going mad?

The bags of blood and organs thing is a Slender Man trope, not a Rake one. Which is why I don't get the "SM never does anything bad, just lurks" idea, since it seemed pretty clear to me that he killed and bagged Alex (and if he didn't, we were obviously at least supposed to think he did). Similarly to how he killed and bagged Steph's parents and siblings.

I was just checking Habit's twitter page for that fight he had with somebody a couple of months back and i see on top of the page "everywhere you're not."

I'm 100% sure that it is our unknown twitter poster at the moment. I'm surprised that the story might be advancing on Alex's side, because we haven't really had much to do with him since the "death."

We're just going to have to hope that whoever has the email account will reply, or we'll be at a dead end again.

(By the way, why is everyone losing interest in the mythos? There are less and less updates on this thread/other SM args)

 		I don't think people are losing interest in the mythos so much as people are being swept up in real life. May tends to be a hectic time.

This is not at all how I expected the plot to move forward. If it's legit, credit to the HYBRIDs for once again surpassing my expectations.

There's also the fact that we seem to have chewed all the meat off the bones, cracked them open, and sucked out the marrow. It seems like we don't have anything left to work with, unless this Alex development pans out.

This tree has been squatting in my brain a lot. Slendy was framed!

Another thing I thought of while reading Topher's thread: Jessa is short for Jessalyn. Linnie could also be, from the "Lyn" part. Some of the box papers or other papers hinted that Linnie had seen the EMH Youtube and was going to meet them, but was killed by the Rake before she got there. They also mentioned a resemblance. I'm thinking that Linnie saw that Jessa looked suspiciously like her, in the same way Evan said that the photo of the kid with Dr. C looked like him as a kid. This, coupled with the fact that Linnie was the doctor's fifth child, suggests that she iterated into Jessa. As for why Jessa was then killed by (presumably) Slendy, instead of being protected by him… I don't know. She wasn't associated with the Rake, except through Jeff -> Alex. And I think she left the story before the Rake entered it.

Just a few interesting connections I noticed.

Let's not get off topic here. You said that Vinny could use that tiny piece of Slendy's suit to fight HABIT, not that Vinny could use Slendy to fight HABIT. A tiny piece of fabric, irradiated or not, isn't going to do much against a giant knife, no matter how you look at it.

And as to your edit, Slendy is most definitely NOT trying to protect them. Evan, maybe, for HABIT's sake, although that's just a theory. But Slendy does not want to protect the others, and I can prove it to you:
