As it becomes more an more apparent that TTA is trying to help J so they can accomplish their own goals, I have to wonder why they don't just sit down and talk to him.

If Hoody's only goal was to lead J to the maintenance tunnel, why not just be all like "Hey, this is who we are, this is what happened, here's what you need to know, now help us out."

Just seems like if things continue down this path, then all TTA will accomplish is being a waste of time.

That doesn't make for a very good web-series.

Which is why it bothers me that things are seemingly headed that way.

Seriously, I hope TTA becomes more antagonistic towards J, or tries to sell him to the Operator to save their own hides.

When Masky first appeared he was creepy as hell, and he seemed like he was their to cause trouble for J.

Now we're all like "Oh that silly Masky."

I really like this series, so I would hate to see it lose itself in plot holes.

WAAAAAAAUGH YESSSSS

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
hoodys back with a brand new invention

And yay, Jay actually spending his experience points on intelligence and/or wisdom.

Quick question. Did anyone see whether or not there was any operator or TTA appearances during the conversation with Jay and Tim in the first three or four minutes? I'm just wondering (from a narrative perspective), why start the entry there instead of having them meet up at the park/parking lot, etc. They could have done the discussion of Tim's doctor there. The only other thing I see is to point out Tim didn't remember going to the hospital or annex. Just searching for any more peek-a-boo/Where Slendo moments.

Also I'm thinking those Xs aren't full operator symbols. Figuring most of them were from the original demolition of the building. Unless the team when out an made them Operator Symbols while they were on the scene.

Finally: now begin the great Season three debate over Hoody identity - using build, height, stride, stature, swagger, and horoscopes based on length of Hoody's shadow.

Probably some territorial redneck owns the place and gets all defensive about unknowing trespassers. Well that's how it always is in real life, if you've ever tried visiting abandoned buildings/misc. cool places yourself. The guy that Tim was talking about probably isn't a story element.

Though I do imagine that Tim has a personal connection to the hospital, since he grew up in Rosswood Town.

More likely the reputation is in-game and the result of the Operator's presence. All those markings Alex found during his investigations, clearly he wasn't the first person to learn about its existence.

I had to watch this twice cause the first time I kept expecting the Operator to pop out of one of the rooms or Alex, just found it interesting that Tim said on the way back how he'd seen enough of the building for a lifetime, makes me think that he does remember. I mean, the questions he kept asking Jay just struck me as feeling Jay out to find out exactly how much he knows. Neither one of the guys is being truthful with the other and I have a feeling it's going to come down to the wire, like Jay getting attacked again, before the truth comes out.

The way I see it, it's down to two options: either Tim does remember what happened the night after he went with Alex, but didn't tell Jay for whatever reason, or Tim had a pre-MH experience in there, maybe he has a sickness or psychological thing since a long time ago and had been seeing a doctor there, and... maybe something happened.

Good entry. I agree that parts of this entry seemed kinda unnecessary and could be considered filler, but even the walking around had me on edge. Operator symbols placed throughout is a nice touch. Also I like how Jay is feeling the need to explore the area for himself, despite Tim's annoyance.

I think that maintenance shaft was found by Troseph a while ago, since Jay posted an image a while ago that look a lot like that. I can't wait to see that area in use soon.

Tim is really an enigma right now. We know his history as Masky, but is he still? Is his mind completely wiped like Jay's and Jessica's was? Does he really have no idea what was on the tapes? If he did forget everything, why does he still get bad vibes from the annex? I can tell that Tim is hiding something, but I think irl Tim's acting is so damn good that we can't tell a darn thing.

Now that Hoody has returned, we should expect to see him more. I want to believe that the totheark video saying "See you soon" was fortelling Hoody's visit here. TTA knows that Jay was going to the annex, so the Ministry of TTA probably dispatched Hoody to lure Jay to a new sinister location where new, sinister things will happen. Things that will involved chases, coughing, and tentacles. And since Jay has gotten enough of a taste of the abandoned hospital, he is bound to head to the maintenance shaft on his own now. New awesome entries await us.

Anyone else think that when Jay goes in the maintenance tunnel he'll stumble upon a dead Seth?

This is where I get confused, though. Because TO is supposed to be an entity that has existed decades, maybe even centuries ago. But the hospital makes it out like that was TO's origin, so only like a decade ago?

Though, maybe that hospital has been renovated a lot of times, always getting burned down, and... I really don't know at this point.

Watched again and does anyone else think Tim is pushing the first building more than normal. I can understand his reaction because Jay didn't even look inside, but......IIIIIII don't know. I just don't trust Tim. Hell he wanted Jay to go exactly where Hoody ended up leading them to.

Tim is basically confirmed to be apart of TTA and Hoody too. Still say they are working together and Tim didn't forget shit.

As for TTA "helping" Jay all sneaky instead of just coming out and say "so and so" that would really piss me off, but I have faith there is a good reason. Hopefully a better reason then them just not trusting Jay enough.

No clue why TTA would act like this if they are on Jay's side. Maybe they are just messing with him. Trying to do something to take down Alex and the Operator, but they don't wanna risk it.

I'm leaning towards TTA sacrificing Jay in the finale to help their corn harvest.

Welcome to the forum!

And yes, I'm also expecting a cadaver down there. Thing is, if it's Brian or Seth (assuming they're actually dead) they'd have to use a freaking skeleton, cause they would've been dead for years. If it's Alex, Jessica or Amy, maybe a weird mummy of sorts.

Maybe they get a bunch of extras and it's a room of bodies.

Unless I've forgotten something, I don't think we know much about Slendy/Oppy-lore in Marble Hornets. Lots of other games have a long Slendy-history, but as far as I know the earliest possible appearance in-game was Alex's birthday tape. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe they are refereeing to the story Alex told of the killing trees.

Welcome. I think that'd be a bit extreme. Besides the Operator has taken dead bodies before (RIP Bruce in the tunnel). It'd still be cool though.

That's true. I forget that part far too frequently.
