But Tim and Jay got there the same way Alex and Brian entered. That's why Jay said "let's go this way"

Good entry. I agree with what a couple of people have said already, that Jay should fess up about what he's doing. Tim is so annoyed and uncooperative by the end of it, doesn't it seem like it would be Hail Mary time? Like he's bailing on you anyway, might as well tell him what's up.

I saw that, too. It's probably just dirt or something from when Tim leaned against a wall.

Great entry. Tim is absolutely the standout actor of the series, and I was glad to see Jay take a more active, decisive role, and I also enjoyed the slow-burn, low-key atmosphere. Hoody's appearance was, in context, a much more exciting moment than another distortion-drenched glimpse of the Operator. The maintenance tunnel is clearly going to be important, and I'm looking forward to the discovery of an underground labyrinth that connects with the weird static-filled hole in the woods.

Maybe.

I don't blame Jay for being careful around Tim; this is the guy who attacked him and watched him sleep back in season one, and he could have a relapse at any moment. Jay's on his own, at least until ToTheArc steps up and gives Jay some kind of sign that they're on the same side.

Which, now that I think of it, may be exactly what Hoody just did...

I'd just like to mention that the TV has the operator "teleport in" distortion occur as it pans over the crowd. This doesn't really confirm anything except that someone that Jay obviously knew/someone that was being tracked by the operator was there watching it burn down, meaning it had to be alex, tim, or hoody imo (since the operator can't light a lighter with his nubs)

The Operator was standing among the crowd of people there.

I still maintain that was actually a tree.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but when Jay sets the camera down to get out of the service tunnel we see some smoked cigs on the ground. Tim wasn't smoking at that time, but we know that he IS a smoker. Does this mean that he's been there before? Just something I picked up on and wanted to share to see if anyone thinks it makes any sense.

Don't you think it's more likely that they didn't want to pick up someone's nasty cigarette butts and move them out of the shot

Slightly confused on the layout of the buildings. But I'm sure that's intentional. Either way, the room with the tunnel... When they exit it Jay asks "Which way is the front?" and Tim points off to the right, which is the direction they head. Then when they're walking to the main building the angle is all wrong. If it was the same building and you were just at the back or side of it and trying to walk around to the front, that isn't the angle you'd end up approaching the front of the building from. So do they chase him to the main building? Or another section of the annex? Or a third (or fourth if we're counting the return address/leg breaking building) building?

Highlights, for me, were:
- The general back and forth between Jay and Tim
- At about 6:10 Jay walks past Tim and all I could think was "What the poop are you doing, Derpy? Why are you letting him be behind you?"
- Jay poking the camera around the one corner about 6:15
- Jay making a point of filming where stuff he's seen happen from the tapes
- Jay not trusting Tim and going to check that one room himself
- Jay's idiotic "Still want to check out in here?" at 11:20 referencing the main building after having chased off Hoody and continuing to try and get Tim to go into the building when all common sense says "Now's not the time to try and explore any more"

I also got the impression, initially at least, that Tim didn't see Hoody. I think it would have been a good twist if he hadn't seen him at all and just thought Jay was being a flake. Similar to the episode from S1 (I forget which) where Jay goes to confront Slendy at the set and you hear the female voice ask "What is he doing?" and it was never made clear if she was referring to some guy in a suit standing there or Alex just walking off to talk to air.

Overall I thought it was an entertaining entry. It answered some questions, left some things in the dark, and set up the next entry where Jay gets his full derp on and returns, at night and alone, to explore the tunnel.

in entry 12 sarah was deff talking about slendy standing there, at the beginning of the entry before they start shooting i think someone says something to signify that he's there but they dont acknowledge him until sarah pans the camera around

Kick it.
I doubt they would have pointed the camera directly at it like that if it was someone elses. Besides, it looks like they're the only ones that ever go there any more, even squatters must think its too far of a walk XD

Alex says something along the lines of "don't worry, he'll move"

I am just going to break into the conversation right now; went through way too much toruble this morning and this afternoon to watch this entry to not come on the forums despite the fact that this is possibly the latest I have ever some in on an entry. For all three that have been posted since I've joined the forum. For that reason, I'm not really going to write out a speculation wall or anything, but I might as well say that I wasn't thrilled with this entry. I'll always be the first one to defend MH when their quality is put down, and I still enjoyed this entry a lot, I just somehow liked the other ones better. Surprising as that is. Maybe I'm getting accustomed to the entries, and they're not as exciting as they used to be when they first come out. I'm sure if I watch it a second time, I'll like it more, but I figured I would throw my opinion out there. I didn't feel like it was filler, and I especailly enjoyed the character development, it gave us some subtle hints to gnaw on. Especially about what Tim could possibly have against that building.

Over all, the main thing I noticed was how out of temper Tim progressively got as the video went on, and I can't wait find out what his history with this place is. I continue to believe that his timneisa is genuine, but I could always be proven wrong. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I also noticed his coughing fit and the way he seemed to not want to go in to the room that he had allegedly been operatoed on in. All rather interesting stuff to me, especially when Tim isn't that hostile by nature; he was very friendly at the beginning of the video, needless to say. I'm still waiting for Jay to come clean and tell him about his psychopathic nature. Not sure how and when that will happen, though.

Also liked Hoody appearence; really want to see what's up with the tunnel. Jay might find, like, bones or something. XP

An Operator appearance in the tunnel is very unlikely.

It would be the most awkward thing in the world to see the Operator crawling around down there.

Although Hoody appeared to lead Jay to the tunnel, Tim strongly wanted Jay to get out of there.

Maybe Tim is waiting for Jay to learn/see something before he goes down there?
Or maybe Hoody is trying to trick Jay into doing something.

I think there's something down there that Hoody just wants Jay to find. Obviously, or at least probably, the Operator is not going to be down there. Yes, that would be awkward. But a discarded piece of evidence might be.

Just something that's bothering me. At about 5:00 Jay asks Tim about the annex and Tim says (pretty much to himself) "Why would I have brought that up?". I don't know why, but I can't make that line fit in with everything else, if you know what I mean. There's missing information and then there's something that feels so inconsistent that there must be something else behind it.

In this entry we get to see how little of the annex we saw in Entry #51. For example, did anyone notice that there are no walls around the door that Brian leans on in Entry #51? Or that there were railings leading down to the courtyard in that same shot? Or that the there was a second door in the room where Brian found Tim? Jay showed us a lot of stuff in this entry that change what I thought about the layout of the annex, and with this information it might even be possible to draw a rough plan of some of the annex.

It also shows the path Tim took the annex right? It was a short trip and yet Tim would rather stop between the buildings than go inside either of them. And if those were headlights in Entry #57 at around 3:20 then who's headlights were they? Tim pointed out that there's practically no way to get a car down there without being stopped.

Unless the idea of the operator crouching on the ground and then tilting his head at you is not really just awkward, but horrifying as the same time.

Long story short, I'm terrified by almost anything he does.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Even if he waddles toward the back of Jay's car
