I'll get the 15:00, but I probably won't be able to get the 17:06 (1st and Madison).

I can make an axon...if someone would let me know what ones need to be covered. It will be my first one. I ended up with the day just by chance.

I can get the redmond location.

Hey, kids.

Sorry I've been out of it for awhile, I've been sick/dealing with sick family etc etc.

I think I'll make an effort to try and get the Husky Stadium axons today, since they're not covered.

Wynn got his Captaincy. Smile
I got to listen in to his side of the call as he was trying to get the text marker from me.

Thanks for kidk manning the phone while I was taking my call. I called him about 5 minutes before the call wondering what the password was, just in case. He couldn't find it yet by the time the phone rang. But I kept him on the line. I had the payphone up to one ear, and the cell phone up to the other. It went something like this (paraphrased)

Melissa: <blah blah blah> What insect do I hate the most?
Wynn: Bees
M: Good, you can be trusted. What is your name?
W: Wynn
M: Wynn. Can you spell that?
W: W-y-n-n.
M: W-y-n-n. What is your rank?
W: Captain.
M: <I'm recording and share this with the rest of the crew... what's your secure number... etc>
M: Are you alone or are there others with you?
W: I'm alone.
M: Is that because other crew members didn't show up?
W: They were assigned other tasks this morning.
M: Good, I'm glad you are coordinating your efforts as a team.
W: Yes, we're part of Rainier Company.
M: Do you have a cheer? My Washington [DC?] crew has a cheer.
W: <tenatively> Yes....
M: Good! Let me hear it!
W: We love coffee, We love bees, We're the crew of Rainier Company.
M: [repeats] We love coffee, We love bees, We're the crew of Rainier Company. I like it, even though you know I don't like bees.
W: <laughs>
M: Can you do it again, this time with feeling?
W: We Love Coffee! We Love Bees! We're The Crew Of Rainier Company!
M: Excellent. I've placed text markers on the server at specific locations. Do you know where it is and what it says?
W: No, I don't know where it is.
M: I'm disappointed. Can you get in contact with a communications officer and find out, within 90 seconds?
W: [looks at his cell phone] Yes I can.
M: Good. You have 90 seconds. GO.
W [to cell phone]: Kidk, I have 90 seconds.
Kidk: To her toes, 10:24
W [to payphone]: Melissa, I have it.
M: Good, tell me what it is.
W: To her toes, 10:24.
M: [repeats]To her toes, 10:24. Excellent work soldier. I am most impressed at the speed you have accomplished this task. You will be rewarded. Is there anybody you'd like to share credit for this with?
W: Yes.. ummm [forgets kidk's rank] Commander kidk.
M: You have given me great faith that if something were to happen to me, you could carry on the mission without me.
W: Absolutely.

She then went on to describe that something special is happening on Sunday. She will be broadcasting live on Sunday rather than the regular Tuesday.

Anwyay, apparently kidk's reward is a promotion. Way to go Smile

answer: a bee

If you get a live call, contact angelo or buzzkill for the current phrase and location.

Their numbers are in the first post in this thread.

WARNING: The answer is NOT "a bee", it is "bees", plural. We've had several confirmations on that, and a lot of people are having a hard time getting the voice recognition software to pick it up, so say it loud, say it clear, and you might as well say it several times.

I enhottenated two axons this morning, and both took a few tries saying it before it took.

Once again, no call for me. Wynn, I e-mailed last week to Melissa my phone number just to make sure she has it right, but I never got a reply. Think you could try e-mailing her for me, since she seems to respond to you?

"a bee" worked for my direct call as well as the Redmond call.

Way to go Wynn and kidk!!!

Wynn, this has been a powerhouse week for you. Updating the axons, getting Melissa to retract the broken phone, making sure that Altris gets his call, and answering a live call with the appropriate response in 5 seconds flat. Go Wynn!!! Thanks Man.

kidk, that was a nice assist. If I make it out next Tuesday (Sunday??), you are my Op of choice.

If I can't make it, someone grab my copy of Halo 2!!! Wink
