I think I found something noteworthy. My friend works as a fitness trainer, and I told him to watch around the part where Hoody is seen.

He claims that right when hoody steps out of the frame here...

...He breaks into a run at the end of his walking path. He may be wrong due to the camera shake, but whats also interesting (I highlighted him here)...

...He's just standing there, seemingly looking at the floor. Something I wouldn't do with a wide-eyed Jay chasing me. His stance is straight and stiff, not something you would see after running. Most people would just take a few steps to come to a complete stop, and would DEFINETLY slouch.

For some reason, be it teleportation or not, his stance is weird and calm. I don't think this is significant, but it also gives us a slight clue to how we'll see him later in the series.

If you were a trained runner, I can see doing the slouch by instinct. But I have done some short running myself and been able to stop and not slouch. Don't forget, hoody also had a good head start on Jay.

It may depend on your physical condition. Hoody seems a bit more scrawny, then say, masky. Although, yet, it shows no evidence that he actually ran.

But he was still standing there. He knew jay was after him, somehow not looking behind for him. He just takes off.

Hoody wanted Jay to follow him. We don't know why, but that would definitely explain his "running when first encounter, but slowed down later" behavior.

Maybe he agrees with someone for the first time in his life?

I always entertained the notion that the only one who can telaport is the Operator; if so many people in this series somehow are in posession of this dern ability, then, to me at least, it's way over done and kind of deters the realistic allusion that Marble Hornets is supposed to convey. Hoody is just a weirdo who wants to be all cryptic, so I think he's intentionally being all quick and good-posture-esque because he wants to be a cryptic weirdo. Or it's just in his nature.

Guys, we're all forgetting the simplest explanation here;
Hoodie was trying to look cool for the camera. I mean, he knows a thousand crazy fans are going to analyze his strides in detail so he'd better look his best, right?

(I could picture Hoodie having a sense of humor like that, you know?)

Now that we've cleared that up, back to the issue at hand: over analyzing the youtube series Marble Hornets. Very Happy

What? I have no illusions about what I'm doing on these boards. I'm over analyzing the hell out of a piece of entertainment. Razz

Just next to the utility tunnel, there's an empty water bottle. Empty water bottle and cigarette butt? Tim. There may be another empty bottle at the bottom of the tunnel too, but it's very grainy. Jay practically hits it with his camera lens.

And then sitting on the floor, is that an emptied gas tank, a few minutes walk away from a burned out building? (I'm seriously asking, it's been a while since I was in the states, and I can't remember if they look like that over there.) Someone, maybe Tim, burned down the annex and fled to this tunnel as it burned.

I'm usually as skeptic as possible with little easter egg-esque hints like this, but I'm getting a sort of "Jessica-was-more-than-a-normal-person" vibe from it; when the latter first appeared, some people speculated that she was somebody of importance, but for every person that did, another person said she was just an extra. And those people were later proved terribly wrong.

These may not be just any random cigarette butts and water bottles.

enttry #37 begs to differ.

(Okay, it's ambiguous just what the hell was going on there, but the fact remains that Jay mysteriously forgot his password, suddenly suffered a crippling headache, and then woke up a week later at the red tower with no idea how in the world what he was doing or why he was there.)
