I looked up June 1st and serial killer on google and David Berkowitz was born on that day. He's known as Son of Sam or the .44 Calibre Killer. He's the guy that 'talked' to the neighbours dog. Link to wiki below.

, also with reference to the ripper clues I think the 18 88 is just that 1888 and that pete and willie are amongst those that have been put forward as suspects, there was also a russain doctor, pedrencho, that may tie together the russain angle from the other clues (or maybe not!).

 		If Willie and Pete are put together like 18 and 88, they could point to Willie "Pete" Kent who in 2003 was killed in Ripper-esque fashion.
