AIC is not what they seem. Financial services serve only themselves. Look deeper.

I will thank your insight.

So I'm thinking this is a down with the corporation ARG...am all for that.

Re: Collected info

I would add the LinkedIn and can help if help is wanted. I had a short conversation with Lauralee and the LinkedIn profiles were mentioned by her.

Should we add links to the LinkedIns as well?

cools on the reply from Cassandra - and Lauralee mentioned they are more of an investment firm (quote from one of her tweets: " We serve corporate and high net-worth clients.") - then she got a little mean tweet (and talking to) from Carter (the AIC lawyer) - whooooo happens to be the one who signed the cease and desist Rex received...

Re: Collected info

I added a little on Austin - if it looks ok to you, I can add more of the notes from the assorted tweets - a lot of little character pieces have been coming out through the FB and tweets of the AIC and non-AIC people as well as in the comments on Rex's blog

I am new to using Google docs, but I think I can set them to be able to be added-to / edited by anyone with the link. I'll try to get the docs set that way this afternoon. The only problem would be the vulnerability of someone deleting data that should be preserved. At this point I'm willing to trust.

alcazar

Cassandra posted a cryptic message - "Like father, like son. Austin Kliburn is repeating his father Alcazar's history" - https://twitter.com/fightaic/status/207395304373354497

Any thoughts on Alcazar?

I've just started, but googling alcazar and middle east (as Kliburn just returned from a trip to the middle east) brought up a link to this person (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/carlos-alcazar/7/447/55) - I had to laugh as he happens to be in power Wink

but - any thoughts on what Alcazar might mean? Cassandra does say to dig deep for connections.

Re: Collected info
Adding LinkedIn

Since Rex seems to be the only person (so far as we know) who has their own blog, we can put LinkedIn pages under the column marked 'Web'. The spreadsheet should be open for edits. Anyone with the inclination should go ahead. That's why I put it up.

Re: Collected info

Yes. Please go ahead. Looks like under the column 'Web' makes sense.

BTW: Your list of interests on your profile [code breaking, tv shows, ARGs, Regenesis, CSi:Miami, Bones, various other tv shows, anything Alice in Wonderland, Neil Gaiman, Sandman] is great. I've tried to convince some friends here how good the series ReGenesis was, but no takers so far. I met and got to hear Neil Gaiman read at ComicCon back in 1995. I have not participated in an ARG before, but have had some interest for a while. Hope this one lives up to its potential. Smile

Thanks there's a lot of Alice in Wonderland refs to do with ARGs plus I loved the books as a kid. There was actually a ReGenesis ARG that tied into the show, it was pretty well done as well. I ended up getting my dad into the show and he's a tough critic.

You met Neil Gaiman that's really cool. I have Good Omens on my reading list at the moment since I need to find a source for graphic novels again (I moved a little while ago).

I'm adding the LinkedIn profile links now if they haven't been added already.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also noticed a lot of the people on Kickstarter are in Social Media Marketing which is the actual field I'm going into. It's technically Marketing Communications Management.

If they start using financial/business jargon feel free to message me all.

AIC has a LinkedIn page as well...possible other characters?

Cools on your field and having a bus. jargon person around Smile

The AIC LinkedIn page says 80 years of success - that would put it's start around 1932 - whichhhhhh is close to the 1928 date on some of the info in Rex's box AND the late 1920s is when Jane Winthrop was an actress.... sooooooo are we trying to look at how AIC started? Cassandra just tweeted about watching what AIC does, not what they say they do and that she does know of Jane Winthrop (many people do)

I can kind of understand that but AIC are pretty fishy... Trout

But I have a friend that's a Financial Engineer. He basically works with hedge/mutual fund/stocks and creates systems that make it easier to work with them.

Does AIC maybe use time travel to it's advantage (am still catching up a bit at the moment)?

Also maybe they use time travel to 'drive' the employees of the company into the past and they already know about the future. That'd be a good business move if it was possible.

The implied evidence from Rex's use of the Time Switch device is that of a way to communicate with someone in the past - Jane Winthrop, in this case. Such technology could be useful to a company with an 80 history (AIC). It would also explain the people with high energy physics backgrounds (MIT, CERN) working for a financial investment company.

Wish we could find more info on Julian Henry Winthrop
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9XxSjR2VbAwM0JUVjJkdnd0aHc/edit?pli=1

Article says he was going to do a presentation at the end of 1928 for the National Academy of Science. Was this presentation ever made? Is there any info on Julian at the Viterbi School of Engineering, where he was supposedly a faculty member? How about the University of Texas or the LA Museum of History, Science, and Art? How about at the Tar Pits?

John Logie Baird is an actual person. I'm wondering if we need to wait for more info on Winthrop though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Logie_Baird#First_public_demonstrations

The above mentions the television transmission on January 26 1926 to the Royal Institution.

Also the only exact result for the LA Museum of History, Science, and Art was a science periodical.

they might or maybe as others mentioned above, they communicate somehow... Cassandra also mentioned Austin following his father's Alcazar history - so maybe that would be a good avenue to explore?

Cassandra also mentioned watching what AIC does not say they do - a lot of people have been traveling - has anyone logged or mapped or collected all the assorted travel?

Lastly - it seems Rex might be missing, just when those thugs showed up and the mention that the 3rd and 4th floors are closed off, sooooooooo how do we get into those floors Wink we need an AIC operative :p
