It's not fantasy in the traditional sense of the word. But still the vibe is indeed there.

Nope. But the favorite color is red.

I wanted to make a remark about how close that guess is but it would totally put you on the wrong track.

I keep getting the feeling that Leonardo da Vinci is involved in this film.

And all the pictures are at night, which is a bit odd.

That's an impressive jump there, Mr. Horse.

Ever After? (Completely random guess, here.)

No "Ever After" and no Leonardo involvement in any shape or form.

I wonder if the red bit couldn't be a film titled, "The Crimson Permanent Assurance", which isn't my guess; but, is part of my guess.
Or, if not that, then, "Stardust (2007, not the midnight movie fodder from 1974)"?

LOL No the red reference is actually 'red' as in "Look at the last picture (the tv) and imagine it being a color screen. You'd see red." An not Stardust.

Weird: the film started off in the renaissance(?) period but has seemed to go to present day.

That last picture seems to strike a chord with me though. It reminds me of a foreign horror film that I was kind of watching - but I can't remember the story (or the name).

I have a long train trip tonight, so no doubt I'll find it in one of my corrupt memory banks! Very Happy

Arg! I was so sure this would be among the never seen.
But I'll await that digital-brain-wave with eager anticipation.

Everytime i try to think of the plot of the film get mixed up with jeepers creepers.

is it something to do with a monster coming back from the dead every 10/20/50 or 100 years?!

ding ding ding ding. We have a winner.
It indeed has a similar plot to Jeepers Creepers. But it messes with the origin of Sinterklaas/Sint/Santa.
