Anyone up for speculating about the story behind this document?

Why would Richard Parker have so many flights in one day?
Was he being chased or chasing someone/something?

I thought it was to cover his and his wife's disappearance, I would guess all the flights are impossible for one person.

Why are there 5 digits in the time stamp on the last 2 lines?

Granted we don't know the starting point (most airlines tend to list start and end points, heh), but most of the listed flights (assuming it is from location N to N+1) are under 2 hours. There's obviously a cross country jaunt in there; I'm guessing the blank spots are east to west stops going from atlanta to sf, but the listed destinations are about 8 hours of flight according to flighttime-calculators.com A cross country direct flight is about 5 hours (SF -> DC), so you could do the listed flights in a day, especially given time zone shifts moving westwards.

Yeah, that's why I don't think it is a timestamp. They also all end in the same first-four-dots pattern, so it must be something else. Also can't be seat numbers as those would be a 1-2 digit number followed by a single letter A-E.

just a guess but I'd say all the flight times end in a 5, maybe the bottom 2 were cancelled or something.

So the 3 character code (before NONSTOP) is possibly a seat. It could be B01 (such as with NY) or C01 (chicago). If the plane is 2 seats per column, this would put him on an aisle seat on the first row. Of course, most planes count 1 as being first class, so coach doesn't start until around the 4th row and larger airplanes have 6 seats in a row (A-E), so the B01 could also be E01 (either middle or window).

Can't figure out the 5 characters though. Would make sense to have a time, but it won't fit the number of characters.

I'm wondering if the 3 letters are EDT, PDT, CDT for the time zones.

Oh... yeah... that is almost certainly right. I had tried using Eastern Standard Time, EST, and since that didn't fit I had discounted it. But if you use Eastern Date Time, it fits perfectly.

This means the 2nd to last blank date (the 7th entry) is somewhere in the Central Time Zone, which makes sense.

Makes those 5 character possibly-time segments in California even odder. Did CA switch to 100 hour days in the 90s?

This is how mine looks so far, I just wish they'd get their finger out and show us the rest. Looking again at the five digit codes at the bottom I'm wondering if there is a typo between them and they are meant to look the same?

The 7th entry should have CDT (there's a single left dot in the square before the D). Also, if we assume military time, which seems to fit, atlanta's second digit isn't necessarily a 2 (could be a 3 since we don't know how those look, they might be a full 5 dot line). Good work though.

7th entry says CDT, and I agree with you about the possibility of it being a 3 but I've given the font designer the benefit of the doubt of not making a completely crappy font Smile

Oh, I see, you assumed the DT on the 8th entry. Yeah, most likely the 3 is the middle three dots so it is a rounded shape.

It does make for an interesting pattern of times. For example, the times go 10, 11, 12, 10, 21, 22, 20, __, 122, 120. I'm assuming the blank is 21 because the first digit is in groups of 4 and the second digit goes 0 1 2. Assuming there is a pattern.

However, if these are times, then the order of the flights are not able to be connecting as presented. Chicago leaves at 10:05 central, but Boston leaves at 11:_5 eastern, which is at the latest 11:55, which is only 50 minutes after the Chicago plane takes off. That flight is over an hour in duration not counting time on the ground.

Yeah, we're not getting much else out of this. Makes me wonder what it is trying to tell us. So far we know that they misspelled San Francisco and the California entries have too many characters for what we think is a time indicator.

Also, what is an EMOTE-JET? And why do Boston and SF "coach class" not have the hyphen? I don't believe these are mistakes; usually that would be eventually noticed and fixed in an update to the image.
