I don't know. It depends. Peace can mean more than one thing. It can mean a world without war. It can mean having a life free of stress. It can be within a family, or worldwide. Where to begin depends on where you end, I suppose.

confess confusion at the statement "Where to begin depends on where you end". One will begin something when it needs to begin

I meant more, it depends on what you're trying to accomplish, where you begin. To begin personally. That makes sense. I would begin by looking at what seems to be preventing you from getting peace.

If you must learn from it.. The cost to remember may be the highest to the one remembering, but the cost for them not to may be highest for someone else. At that point, I suppose it depends. Who is more important, you, or someone else. Who can afford to pay the price? And is it fair to make another pay a price for a choice that wasn't theirs?

Why are there two periods at the end of the last message? Was that a copy bug or was it there originally?

the picture doesn't help much... anyone know what kinda tree that is? or is it a 'famous' house?

I guess that's an oak draped with spanish moss, but still don't see a connection yet.

As far as periods, you mean "I'll teach you. But remember that the Devil is in details.. "? Because that seems to be copied correctly.

 		One more question: what is the original file name for the picture before you hosted it online?

About the context, I guess the sentence "the Devil is in the details" is some sort of key to decipher the numbers. Or maybe the letters G and D (the only ones in uppercase on "God" and "Devil"). Also, the sentence is repeated one more time, as if the last email is the trailhead itself.

Maybe Johnny started the conversation willing to get to a certain point where he could use this sentence and, reaching that point and fearing a change of subjects, he replys the email before Araenna, emphasizes the sentence and post the codes to get the game going.

 		I believe the name was simply Untitled.png. I was thinking "the Devil is in the details" has to be a key or something as well, but I'm not good at recognizing ciphers and the like yet.

I think it is a "simple" anagram, as in a scramble, because the last stretch of letters look like "THANK YOU GAELAN" to me. However, when I tried to apply that reorder to the beginning, I didn't get anything readable. No one should be expected to solve a random scramble of any string that long, so I hope there is a better methodology.

later... doh! Putting it in a spreadsheet makes it *much* easier to swap columns -- indeed it is important to keep the rows and columns as given. (revised)

I don't know what's wrong with the first line, but the rest makes sense now. The spacing on the top line is off by one, which messes it up. I tried inserting a blank in the front, which helped a little, but something is still off.

Hm, 28.00300 - 81.97516 gives an intersection in florida. Like, in the middle of the intersection. So not sure that would be accurate.

28 00 300 - 81 97 516 is a swamp, also in florida.

Both seem unlikely to me.

 		The image doesn't look stegged, and TinEye returns nothing for me. If today was any indication of Johnny's normal time frame, I don't expect anything back from him until around 2100 UTC tomorrow.

EDIT: Can anyone make out what that is under the eave of the house?

I've sharpened the image, but I cannot quite tell what is there.

You mean the words? I think it's (c) 2011 Google, since the image is from street view on Google Maps.

I have twisted, turned, spun, and mixed up these coordinates and nothing valuable has come up. I ever tried just wandering the nearby housing areas via Streetview from the intersection in hopes of finding something, but Dunno

 		Derp. Yes, those are the exact words that I meant. It didn't even dawn on me that it was from street view when I realized that ©2011 was the first part.

With that in mind, though, live oaks or cypress trees with Spanish moss aren't out of place in the least in Florida. The co-ordinates do not seem too "off" to me.
