Any update about this? This article http://mashable.com/2012/04/24/alternet-reality/ was posted today in a new thread and it let to this site... http://alternetreality.com/
There is a file there about the Architect and the last guy. So I'm assuming they are the same game. Thus... I'm in.
The find me event facebook page said another had been found. Has it ended already? That was quick.

Poking around in view source on findmeevent.com, the CSS contains a reference to http://www.findmeevent.com/update.jpg .

A possible lead on the findme update jpg. There is a town in ohio known as Finneytown. This may seem irrevelant, although the bodies of John Dodson, David Sprong, and Ebenezer Finney are laid to rest there. It is in a place known as god's half acre, somewhere along winton rd. lane. This may be irrevelant, taking the names out of account, except that it is on a burial ground and also Finneytown Ohio is the birthplace of Rod Stirling, the creator of twilight zone. If you are a part of the Alternet, then this is key, as the Twilight zone seems to be in part the inspiration of it. So we may have found the place, just to figure out if it is true and what to do with it.

Just look up Finneytown OH on google maps to help search up stuff.
I wouldn't have been able to do this without the new member Areonaught. We coolaberated, so two heads are better than on. Fact.
Anyway, gushy stuff out of the way, it seems that we might be looking for the reservoir or a path leading to it. the history mentions that the cemetery where the three are buried is near it. If I'm just beating something dead here, tell me. But I think we may be on to something. Best of luck to you all. Let's get the archetect.
Also a message to the admins, if I'm breaking forum rules by posting in Findme and alternet threads, please tell me. I'd be happy to comply.
Cheers

Nickel531 has got it down. The thing Im seeing with it pertains especially to the last two lines of the riddle once you get passed the cemetery bit. Theres a lot of wildlife preserves and lakes in the area. Draw your own conclusions. We think were looking for a presbyterian church with a small very overgrown cemetery nearby. Itd also be close to a body of water and a wildlife preserve if were right. The cemetery is as Nickel531 said nicknamed Gods Half Acre.
Good luck. Lets do this.

I'm about 2 hours from that area. was thinking of taking the trip this wekend and seeing what i can see. The history seems detailed enough to find the place. Anyone else going down or have an idea of what i would be looking for once im there?

I'm really suprised that something is going on in my area.

Great idea rodd. Had I not have to live so far away, i'd probaly volunteer to go out too. But great idea. You lucky dog, getting to have it in your area.
But on serious news, a good place mit be to find the gds half acre itself to start. The clue might in the graveyard itself, and you just follow a path from there to a fountain. That wouldq be my guess anyway, what say everyone else.
As I said before, best of luck to you guys that do go down. While I can't, is there anyone else that can go? Finneytown oh is where we think it might be.
Good luck guys,
Cheers
Oh and rodd, play it safe. You've got this in the bag.

Just got a tweet from alternetreality said we were on the right track but that clue is from a closed case. And that I was still welcome to do it for the points. So I don't see the point in going if its not moving anything forward....
