I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of TSW fans starting to visit uF again.
Hell, it got me back after a few years of absence.

Hello! Great job so far guys! i have to say you are lucky, you got the more in depth "big boy" puzzle
I have come over from the secret world forums, and i have to say if i had a choice of doing the route we were given, or yours.. i would of chosen yours! feel free to join us at http://www.darkdemonscrygaia.com/showthread.php?t=32184 to see what we have done the past few days (p.s the illuminati thread in the "secret war" section is a little smaller but we reached the conclusions none the less- might be a little bit of a quicker read - or alternativly www.crygaia.com has walk through guides for the previous days leading up to todays last puzzle - the write up for todays will be soon!
[edit: hi Amelia, welcome to uF. FYI: Spoiler tag is for puzzle solves or tv/movie/book plots. - kona]

Holy cannoli. This is way bigger than the tiny little grass-roots ARG that I initially thought this was.

I was excited to get back into ARG (the last one I did was the failed This Is My Milwaukee) but now that I find out this is part of an existing ARG I'm disappointed but some of the stuff I read from the TSW links makes me think this might be a bit of fun.
I'm feeling the same way. If this is a side-thing to TSW I might end up dropping out, because I've been on an ARG hiatus for the last year or so and didn't even hear of TSW till today. Now I'm nervous that I won't understand anything that's going on in this game because I didn't play TSW at all...

jtraub's post over at the Dark Days are Coming / TSW forums should be required reading for everybody over at uF trying to get caught up to recent events. Previous ARGs (which have been going on for years, it feels like) are something else entirely.

Previous UF threads on the game are relatively short and go back to 2007 (i may be missing some)

Does this have serial killers in it or not? I don't want to read 65 pages to discover the answer is "not" and there seems to be some confusion about the unforum serial killer storyline on the TSW forum from what I briefly read.

Long time fan of UF since I Love Bees, I am also an active follower of TSW. I wondered how long it would take before this got here. I have already been working the seals as they come about.
But you here always look way beyond some other people. the tie ins to all the serial killers is something the current crop of people have not touched upon.
Glad to be back and 5 more seals to go. See ya'll on the 6th.

Thanks for linking my post over on TSWs forums. I've actually been a random 'browser' over here for a while on unforum (ever since I got involved with the Master Theorem) but never created an account/posted here.
To answer someone else's comment about not being able to catch up or something, TSW is an MMO and is still pending release (currently announced release date is July 3). There have (apparently) been ARGs going on for drumming up interest in TSW since the beginnig, and the current one is just the last in the batch. Since I didn't find out about TSW until a few months ago, and didn't find out about their ARGs until this one started, I'd have to say that anyone who wanted to could still get involved and have fun [I know I am ]. The game itself *might* interest some ARG folks just because there are in-game missions which rely on the same sorts of clue and puzzle solving that ARG players seem to enjoy.
Either way, I'll probably keep an eye over here now too since y'know, more puzzles are more fun

Pretty sure the current answer is "probably."
The Slaughterhouse 666 aspect at least suggests a serial killer is involved, though this is of course just a small part of a much larger picture.

I've been kind of following along with this because The Secret World looks like it's going to be fun, but I'm so used to Unfiction that I HATE how the folks on the Secret World forums deal with the puzzle solving on this ARG. There is no way to dig through all their posts to figure out what's been solved or not, or what clues point to what location. I've been getting the emails that tell me that a new Seal is open but I don't know what leads to what or anything. I would like a nicely formatted Trail, plz. *pout*

and typing that in will return a list of places in europe, with one unknown.
maybe it's just a coincidence, but i made a rough sketch of these locations and came up with this.
maybe the last location is in the center of the star? just thinking out loud.

Some people tried to start a new thread for this one, sadly not everyone bothered.

On the right track here.
Overall, I'll admit, we're(over at the TSW forums) a bit stumped at the moment. The page for seal 3 has been solved but we were not sent to a video with a new set of runes, which has been the norm.
Instead we are getting:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Video of static with a textual message stating,
"TRANSMITTING DATA TO AGENT MASSING
WAITING FOR VIDEO FEED"
I'm torn between wondering if we need to wait for tomorrow or if there's something we are missing here....
If anyone wants some nudges, I'm more than willing to give hints to help out.

I think it's not relevant to the immediate issue of what to do next, but I'm very curious about what sounds like backwards speaking on one of the Slaughterhouse vids (this one: http://player.vimeo.com/video/42793008 ). I don't have a good setup for it, can someone else download and flip the audio to see if it says anything interesting?

so based off this rough map, and using only major towns, the center of the star seems to be
