Same here

I also emailed danatwing asking for confirmation one way or the other and received a similar reply. All that's left is to get the message to HitsHerMark:

These coordinates have nothing to do with our mission. They are
suspicious and should be avoided.

News from HHM:

I just got off the phone with her. As I suspected earlier, HHM hadn't been following the boards during the day and had no idea what was going on. She didn't really think the note was in game anyway and has no intention of going to check it out.

She got a call from Melissa, basically telling her that the note was a hoax. She was confused, as Melissa called her HitsHerMark, which isn't the name Melissa knows her by. HHM has a personal axon under girlinfocus, so the PMs had her phone number.

I can see the PMs cracking the curtain a bit to make sure that nothing happens to a player, though. Thanks, PMs!

PMs? Sounds to me like Melissa was just looking out for her crew.

A HitsHerMark by any other name ...

Oops .. that would be my fault Embarassed . In my email to The Operator asking her to clarify the situation (did she get Dana to place that message on the axon etc.) I referred to her as HitsHerMark a.k.a. Lt. Cmdr. Girlinfocus so as to cover all bases and avoid any possible confusion there. Instead, I ended up creating confusion by doing so ... unintended consquences of what seemed like a good idea at the time Embarassed .

So nope, no cracking of the curtain there ... as Astald said, Melissa was just looking out for her crew. I do think calling her was the right thing to do, and I'm glad Melissa was able to find the time to fit that in ... she has been quite busy today. Alls well that ends well, and my respect for Melissa continues to grow Smile .

Hi all...

Embarassed

I'm so sorry for being such a trouble maker.

As Robynn mentioned above, I'm fine, and I got a call from Melissa at about 4...4:30 regarding the note.

Quite frankly, I had forgotten all about it by that point in the day...

I had no idea what she was talking about when Melissa called my cel live...

Tottally threw me for a loop.

I'm sure I sounded like an idiot. Smile

You guys are awsome, I'm sorry if I caused anybody any stress. Sad
