Seriously? Nothin' happened to Jay, we just kinda sat here with our thumbs up our proverbial a**es on the verge of thinking Jay was dead or otherwise incapacitated, but he's "been trying to contact Tim".

RAEG.

Exactly. Jay's basically saying "nothing has happened", which he could have said before.

So lame. JAY DO SOMETHING GO DOWN THE CREEPY TUNNEL O' DOOM! We want to see you run into the wall repeatedly. It'll be funny.

To be perfectly fair... if this was happening in "real life," the updates would be coming at a much faster rate. I certainly wouldn't just sit on my ass for weeks at a time trying to figure this out.

I'm pretty sure they stopped caring about "realism" and "immersion" when they started advertising the dvd website on the twitter and youtube channel.

But I very much agree.

You know how when you have a really unsatisfying meal, you somehow end up feeling even hungrier than you did in the first place? Like it not only didn't sate your appetite, but it made you want good food even more? That's how I feel about tweets like the one Jay most recently posted.

Forgive my ignorancy, but what's an IRL?

Yeah, I saw that. Kinda makes you feel guilty for complaining, doesn't it?

IRL stands for "in real life," I think.

I hope they're not breaking up or something.

There's nothing on Trosephim's Facebook or Twitter.

I also found this comment amusing/frustrating:

クレシャム キャン Yeah, it's fanboys like you Nick that put Troy and the others off their work. Don't annoy them on their personal account about the next entry and when you want it. If you want do that go to unfiction or slendernation.

In this posts I address some complaints, and hope that Troy, Joseph, or Tim reads this and takes it to heart (if someone could facebook link someone to this I'd appreciate it, I really feel like it should be read by someone working on it because they may find my complaints useful for future entries)

If something came up IRL then they shouldn't have to explain anything to anyone, but a tweet with Jay claiming to still be waiting for Tim doesn't really fit into the story and it feels kind of forced. In the back of my mind I can attribute OOG elements such as scheduling issues or still editing, as to why Jay isn't putting up new entries more often. But now there are IG reasons introduced and it reflects upon Jay's character.

The overall concept of season 3 is good so far, but the universe of MH feels very small when we're constantly being brought back to the same locations. You can have all these cool moments in a series, but they need to have a reason for being there other than just "it looks cool." I feel like that's really what I liked about season 2, was how all the awesome moments were a slow reveal that alex was a villain.

I feel like there's a rather long amount of time spent on dialogue regarding Tim's work schedule or information on the security of the abandoned building. Or just footage of walking through forest for extended periods only to have that walk cut to something else because nothing happened on that walk. I feel like the entries could be half as long and just as good sometimes. Believe me, I'm all for longer entries, but the dialogue could be a little more informative.

It also seems to me like they're really formulamatic on the operator appearances. Possibly due to OOG there being no one to play him. They've done a fine job of improving his appearance for season 2, but if he's just going to stand there then he's going to seem peaceful in a way, regardless of the fact that we know what he's capable of. By this point, Alex seems more harmful than the operator, and something tells me that really isn't what they're going for. They really need to get someone in that suit and creep around, NOT have him appear in the last minute of the entry and just have the camera mess up. It's a gimmick (that is canon and necessary), but a gimmick can only go on for so long before it becomes predictable and starts to create a repetition that eliminates the fear enstated in us from the shot. Let's see an entry where they run into the operator and GET AWAY and then the entry continues. Have the characters acknowledge the operator more, have them discuss his side effects.

Trosephim, don't feel like you need to rush things out to please your fanbase, but take your time and be creative. If you're having trouble getting a script out or filming because of IRL things, then handle those and let us bitch. When the entry comes out (even if it takes a month) we will be satisfied and forget about the bitching. Hopefully I've given you something to think about when writing future entries. Cheers.

(I just know they'll read this and go "fuck you pravado why don't you go do it if you think our work is shit" - i'm not saying that. I'm saying you have the capabilities of taking this story far, but certain things are dragging the story down that could easily be fixed)

btw, IRL = in real life. I don't know how you have survived on the internet this long young padawan.

Personally, I don't really see the big deal of a 2 week wait. Maybe it comes from being a manga fan. Towards the end of FMA, I had to wait a month between chapters.

I think I get semi-agitated at a 2 week wait because some of the entries look like they can be written and shot in a day. But then again I don't know how hard it is to do what they do or their IRL schedules or any of that, so I'm patient as can be.

But yeah, let's chill out a little guys. It's not like they're holding it back. It's still in production and I'm sure they're making every effort to get it done for us. Something tells me this series is the biggest thing in their lives right now, so I don't think they're purposely stalling.
