 		Just looking around at a few things I can actually get to, the Mark Twain image had me wondering what was on the other pages of that notebook. Where you can see the ink on the other pages it mentions Infrared Divergence in QED and Minimal Subtraction scheme. The QED is quantum electrodynamics. Looking at the wikipedia page shows a Feynman diagram. Point of this is the a_string.png image looks to have part of a Feynman diagram on the left side of the image. Not sure what that does for us, but like I said I gotta work with what they actually give me Wink

 		Does anyone have an android or a jailbroken iphone that has all the files?

I have all the files but can not view them because the app crashes right away and my iphone is not jailbroken to be able to access them from the back end.

I'm still missing the audio file from Thorne. Didn't get it yesterday on the tablet and redoing things on phone today I still did not receive it.

 		I was just viewing an "image 102" on the jack boxers site of three icosidodecahedrons and a cool annimated gif of a morphing stellated dodecahedron and it was replaced by "video 72" of a previously seen clip of the vibration patterns (This Is How Our Universe Works). Here is the (for now) missing gif for your viewing pleasure.

 		A comment (by tricycle222) re: video 72 inpired me to dig this up. Might our mysterious dodecahedron be of extraterrestrial origin?

 		Nice find on the Tesla background.

Edit: One of Tesla's labs was at 35 South Fifth Avenue NY (not on that map though) and was where the unphotoshopped 1894-95 photo was taken.

-first off, for me it's difficult to read whomever's handwriting that is. in today's universities they only hand-write in notebooks when needing to jot down something such as in a lab experiment or are taking notes in class. however, in today's schools, all other papers are typed up on a computer -in part for legibility. yes, it's supposed to look like a journal, but the text and even the context doesn't quite sound like it. more below.

- i converted the pdf pages to jpeg & played with the histogram. from that, all i see is that it looks like it was written in lined notebook paper then the lines were 'photoshopped' or adobe indesign'ed out.

- the pages don't appear continuous/contiguous, but rather excerpts.

- the content sounds like a mix of a text book introduction to a topic(such as class notes) and language from a few scientific papers. the context is what gives that impression, or gives it away.

- writing style: also, some parts of the notes, not all, feel to me like they were mashed up of actual papers and/or otherwise paraphrased and mixed with other subjects, sources and topics.

example:
page 2:
"So far we have considered only massless field theories. Now lets introduce a mass, and consider how the mass is renormalized in minimal subtraction."

"4. Mass
So far we have considered only massless theories. We now introduce masses by "dimensional reduction", identifying mass with the component of momentum in an extra dimension."

it changes half-way through the quote but starts off too similar to me.

edited to add:
if a professor was writing to keep certain thoughts on a topic, i'd assume he'd be writing in a higher level of thought that would make more sense to him, instead of introducing the topic to somebody. so, it appears that the notebook is written in such a way to convey information to someone, to people, or just to the game players.
