I suppose Jay will practically have to show Tim the tapes, if he wants Tim to think anything other than "Jay is a psychopath I must flee". How much is he going to tell him? Just the mundane? Or is he going to explain there's an 8-foot-tall faceless horror that thinks their souls look tasty?

IMO, Timothy would either run a mile, or go all Masky on his ass.

No, I think Jay's only option if he wants to force Tim to watch his Maskyness in action is to buy a digital projector, roll up outside Tim's house at night and project all the Masky entries one by one through his window onto his bedroom wall. It's the only way.

Omigosh, yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes.

There are like a billion things that could go so righteously wrong with this. Like, Jay can just try and explain everything to Tim, which would guaruntee lots of fun awkwardness, or something surprising could happen, like Tim could already have relapsed into Masky, or Tim like dies or something, or Tim knows something about Operator that we/Jay doesn't know and offers that up in an effort to form an alliance with Jay after coming to the realization that they're both dealing with a similar force and the only way to corrupt it is to come together.

Or Tim could reveal that he was lying the whole time for whatever reason, and really does remember everything. That would suck, though.

You know, Jay's wording in the tweet has me worried he's going to just stand there and try to explain things to Tim without showing him anything. I'm anticipating the Most Awkward and Uncomfortable Conversation In The World.

And then there's always the problem that if Jay shows him on the computer rather than off the tapes, Tim will think he's doctored it in some way.
