Also, looking back at Entry 14, Alex wakes up with blood on his face/coming from his hair and made a point to record it, perhaps he had/has an alter ego and got in a fight aswell? Just trying to link symptoms.

Nah, I'm pretty sure the Operator did that somehow. Thinking about it, Entry #14 was handled very badly: we know that the Operator came in, then Alex half closed the door again. Skip to 32 minutes later and Alex is bleeding, waiting to change the tape. Presumably Jay watched the whole of the 32 minutes and decided that those two bits were the only two bits worth sharing. What happened in the middle? I don't think we'll ever get to know (for OOG reasons) but we can be pretty sure that Alex didn't get into a fight during that time, otherwise Jay would have shown it.

(A thought that just occurred: Did Alex set the alarm before going to sleep so that he could wake up to change the tape? It seems reasonable, otherwise he'd have to fumble about getting the alarm, working out how much tape is left, set up the alarm etc etc while sleepy and being stalked and bleeding. Scheduling interruptions to sleep like that is a desperate measure in a grim situation. Poor guy.)

You should really be feeling sorry for Seth and Brian. I think feeling sorry for Alex's loss of sleep isnt right when hes responsible for two deaths.

We don't know that they're dead. And Alex was probably suffering a lot leading up to those incidents to have done... whatever he did. : P

Well, 'Bruce' is what we might call a dead cert. So Alex has one definite murder on his hands.

As for the others... well, at least one of the original cast (apart from Tim and Jay) has presumably survived long enough to be Hoody.

Not at the point that Entry #14 occurred.

Edit: I'm firmly in the "Alex was a victim" camp. I just don't think it's scary otherwise. ('Psychopath comes along, starts killing people, somewhere the Operator turns up and watches him. The end. Yawn.' vs 'Normal guy comes along, the Operator turns up and stalks/tortures him, normal guy becomes a psychopath. The Operator finds a new target. Rinse and repeat.')

I think blood in the hair referred to the entry where Tim was hiding from Alex in the burned building because Tim would touch his head and look at his hand as if he was bleeding.

Yeah actually that makes way more sense since alex clearly hit him on the head.

I thoroughly second this. I think there was even a bit of gloss from the light on his fingers.

I am so unbelievably late for the party, but this entry was fantastic. Tim's acting, and the amount of shit that was talked about Marble Hornets in general BY Tim... He pointed out everything about Jay aand what he's been doing wrong for three years in just one entry.

How much longer until Jay checks out the tunnel? His tweet was a day/two ago. Then again, it'd be weird for entries to NOT be three weeks apart. -_-

Maybe he's waiting for Tim to change his mind? I wouldn't want to go alone, either.

The wiki states that the Operator is in this Entry Screwy

And I told Jay that the viewers care about what happens to him on the twitter.

I imagine the 32 minutes would be either Alex sleeping or Alex waiting to change the tape. The reason for the 32 minutes was probably to show that it was on the same tape.

The wiki does not say the the Operator appears in this entry. A user speculated that the Operator appears in this entry.

Hey, I'm back.

Being a resident action analyst of these threads, I watched the Entry again to realize that Tim punched him twice. Once to put him down, and again to finish the sentence, "SHOOTING FILM? YOU LYING PIECE OF--" *punch*.

Also, Tim is not only a dick and a criminal, but I don't think his rage was completely justified. He's not the only one to lose memory and wake up with injuries, but he is the only one to sucker punch people in parking lots. Oh, but Alex ambushed him with an aluminum pipe (If it was lead or steel he'd be all kinds of dead) ? He should save his rage for Alex, not the mousy guy with the camera. Jay called him out, ("Can you blame me after those entries?") and he blows him off. And notice when Jay says, "What was I supposed to do, just walk up and ask you about it?" Tim doesn't have an answer for that. There is no answer, because there's no rational reason to trust Tim. He got his leg broken after he stabbed Alex with a knife.
And to the people saying, "The Masked Man was helping Jay," you'll have to forgive that tackling him and wrestling him to the ground, kidnapping him in the middle of the night... some of those things have to be very loosely interpreted as "help". And assaulting him in the hotel seems like a blatant "Don't look at those tapes, I want to cover up the things that happened in Entry #35."

And I know psychopaths like to play with cameras, but I don't think the guy who puts on opera masks and ambushes people in the dark, then follows them to their apartment and lets himself be recorded watching them sleep has the right to call little ol' Jay a psychopath.

Then he goes on about "Imagine this," "Imagine that," NONE of which were Jay's fault. If you think waking up some weird place is scary, try time-shifting into the basement of hell and having 'that thing' reach for your face (Entry #23).

Overall, most of the stuff he cited was too subjective to him, never acknowledging any of Jay's suffering. And filming everything is not a fault of Jay's; it's necessary when you have seven-month memory gaps.

"You never do anything." What do you suggest he does? It's not freaking Dora the Explorer. Sorry if he can't figure out what to do when Alex never answers his dog-gamn phone, his apartment sometimes burns to the ground, and the guy accusing him of being a psychopath is stalking him in a mask.

If you couldn't tell, I'm not on Tim's side.
