I'm still suspecting a new TTA vid. What with the anniversary, and his lack of recent activity, it seems like a prime opportunity.

And the new TTA will be called "Really?" and it will be two minutes of TTA creepily facepalming with some static and binary thrown in because he can't believe that Jay is still broadcasting his plans to go somewhere creepy and remote by himself.

But then, he wouldn't be Jay if he wasn't a little bit derpy.

We had quite a good discussion on the podcast on what J's next move might be, carrying on from Entry 59. Really, the only certain lead he has at this point is the maintenance shaft at the annex. That seemed to be what Hoody was leading him to.

My co-host described this as make-or-break for J. If J goes back, and investigates, that's it. Either he finds something of importance, and survives the encounter in order to get back to safety and upload Entry 60 or he walks right into a trap and doesn't get back. Presumably the former will happen.

Yeah, something has to be in there that will forward the story somewhat. Jay has no other leads now that Tim is gone. If it's just an operator encounter, Jay will still have no leads, and we'll have to wait for a totheark entry with an obvious before the story moves along, which would again cause me to whiplash the story writing.

wonder if hoody and masky wear long sleeves to counter the slender man chill he gives off, and if the masks are there as a way to prevent his "noxious coughing gas" from getting into your nose/mouth easily

I know there have been so many repetitive Operator sighting entries, but I'm really hoping that this entry will have one in it. Because, in the timeline, the Operator hasn't been seen since 2010. His last appearance in the timeline was when Jay tackled it (or was forced to it) in the hotel. There have been no Operator sightings recorded in 2011/2012 at all. Jay has only uploaded Operator sightings on the tapes from 2006/2010. If the operator shows up in this entry, at least we'll know it is still here and hasn't gone anywhere.

Honestly, if he's going to make an appearance, I hope it's not the "randomly appear in the shot for a fraction of a second and disappear" bit they've been doing a lot more lately. That's almost a tease. What would have been so bad about The Slender Man standing in the room with Tim in Entry #57 instead of playing a really lame game of peek-a-boo?

I know they've evolved their plot so much since season one, but they really shouldn't forget this is widely known for being the original Slender Man video series. No need to stray too far from that. Yes, we know now you've grown a lot as actors. Yes, we know that you've evolved your plot from a fairly standard horror plot to a genuine mystery. Yes, we know you don't want to be a one trick pony. But, at the end of the day, most people started watching Marble Hornets for the Slender Man scares, and that's why many keep watching.
