Holy...holy shit...
Shocked Shocked Shocked

That's gonna give me some freakish dreams, like I've had the last month, all about ILB.

"GOOD LORD, look at the splatter!"- me, in dreamland.

Where is the Flea, though? Is it dead, too?

Truth=destroy AIs?
Reveal truth
Behold truth

This seems to be the real truth, now.

Seek, Behold, Reveal....

Scramble.

Seems simple enough.

Ok think about how I feel. At 12:30 today Mazian, the adam and I sang row row row your boat to her. She was excited to see her brother. She wanted pancakes. With blueberries. I was fumbling up talking to her cause I didn't know how to respond to her. So I started thinking, well, talk to her like you would a 6 yr old girl. Then it made sense.

Not more than 5 hours later, I'm listening to her screaming voice as she is being murdered.

I can only hope that [SPEC] deletion means she will now be sent back to the future and will really see her brother, or some other spec that she's not dead. [/SPEC]

What a price to pay for today's reward,

I am truly in AWE of this game. My hat's of to you PMs.

dude, my friend and i were pretty much talking to her WHEN she got nabbed: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=94764#94764

it's kinda eating at me.

Melissa... Melissa USED us?

Evil or Very Mad Melissa USED US! She made her crew (some of whom were quite partial to the SP) kill off the SP!

I didn't even get a chance to participate today, and I feel abused.

Look for shades of gray. It's what we were failing to do from the beginning, and what we only recently managed to.

Truth has no shame and no remorse.

I might very well be the Standish of beekeepers but people like him are powerful. Good. Bad. Its all the same.

Regardless I am here for the truth and nothing but the truth so help me.

On contactme, I found

"The Last Fortress: <insert coordinates here, I didn't write it down"

Is this something Melissa wants for the exercise?

Ariock, I feel your pain! Here I am desperately trying to get the right, non-expired textmarker from buzzkill to keep Melissa on the phone with Chappy for something cool, and suddenly he waves me off and says SP is dead! Gah!!

Hm. Out of respect for the PMs and their ingenious way of going about this - I vote that a good number of us, including me, should put "the last fortress | 17:23:00" in their sigs. Hooray for the PMs for thinking up such a horrible way to do such a thing. I have a whole lot of respect for you people now.

I just want to say that I am really really sad. Crying or Very sad

It's nobody's fault--we had no idea this is how the day would end--but imagining the Sleeping Princess's data being scattered to the winds makes my stomach churn considerably, especially since I was speaking to her this morning.

And Chappy, I'm sure you have your reasons but please please PLEASE please please don't celebrate her death... Some of us did get really attached to her, especially as we were speaking to her and interacting with her, and maybe we're showing weakness or unfitness for ARGing by having this kind of sentiment; but I, and I'm sure many who've been touched by this bright young girl, view that same sentiment as an asset to remind us of who we are.

I'm gonna miss the Sleeping Princess. Part of me is always going to be holding out in hopes that she'll come back one day, just pop up on the contactme page and say "hey, it's me! That Queen could never put me away for good!" but unfortunately, that sinking in my stomach tells me that she's gone forever.

Rest in peace, Princess. We'll miss you.

A word of background for those who have not thoroughly studied the SPDR logs from the earliest moments after the shipwreck.......

......Melissa thoroughly studied the SPDR logs? Then she knows about the flea.....shouldn't she?

This is even more sad than last week when all I got to hear was SP crying out "Hello?" an infinitely unpleasant number of times as I tried in vain to yell into my self-submitted axon phone, attempting to give her the answers Lt. Watson had provided me with.

I cannot harbor my hatred towards certain... parts... this game has thrust at me, though. T'would be against my particular Side of things, and I can't have that leading to suffering or misery or fear for myself or anyone else.

Used. As assets.

Gives you a whole new level of respect for the term "ruthlessly efficient."

Y'know why they did it this way? Melissa knew our emotions with the princess made us weak. Dana didn't care about plans we offered, that was moral support. Melissa knew how to do it, and she couldn't count on OUR input for it, because we'd all be susceptible to human emotions.

The same flaws that the Goddess Squad pointed out in the human characters in the future exist in all of us, and Melissa knew that, very, very well.

Talk about well-planned...
