Still can't get into any of the directories.
But I found this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you combine "Con Mom", "Key" and "Cube" you get an anagram of "Common Buckeye", the stamp on the postcard. For what it's worth.

who's your daddy? After nearly a week of failed attempts I finally cracked Th3spian04 and there's new material - though it's actually from 06 and 07.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Name: Rhino, Password: smiley
The link on the page downloads a "disk image" file. There's 7 files. One's a password encrytped RAR.

here we go again I was here for 1.0, it seems like forever ago, but was mostly just a watcher, I think i talked to rhinojock once on AIM and all i could get out of him was that missed something important, this thing has been dead for so long, I'd love to see some sort of conclusion, whoever booted this back up, thank you

Here's a list of the files contained in ScAneVilLuRe.dmg:
CiteLaptopAnalyticOp (an audio file)
DgYu_909 (the locked RAR)
pp2 (Malaysian passport cover)
ScAneVilLuRe.jpg (a record of dates and times related to RuMi_909)
trans_im_11_26_06.tif (transcript of IM exchange between RuMi_909 and th3spian04)
trans_tm1-07.tif (another transcript of messages)
visa.jpg (RuMi's student visa)
I don't think any of this stuff has been seen before. (Kronill?)
Still trying to open the RAR.

Mind posting the rest of the files online somewhere to share?

The Files As requested. Here are the files from the ScAneVilLuRe.dmg file.

The 2 links in the middle are for the RAR and an audio file.
Oddly enough, my "life" has gotten in the way of examining them.

Wow. Go away for ten days (a much needed vacation) and look what happens. All of these new files to work on. The bad news is that I couldn't solve anything. Well, except for this
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The RAR file is a new video! It's creepy and cool. Loaded with codes that I haven't finished with yet. The password is "Common Buckeye" : from the postcard. (Thank you. I'll be here through Sunday. Don't forget to tip your waitresses.)

Good work! Welcome back and great work! I did a Rot 12 for the video file title (DgYu_909) got RuMi_909 (the screen name for the Malaysian girl). There's a bunch of braille and I think I've translated it. There's 2 instances of the name "Evariste Galois" (a 19th century mathematician).
Then there are 7 symbols. The first one doesn't exist in any of the braille dictionaries I looked at.
The second one is "m"
3rd is "b" but only if you invert it. Or maybe it's actually nothing.
4th and 5th are "o"s
6th and 7th are "z"s.
What is "mboozz"?

The first braille character is an upper case "J", the 3rd is an uppercase "B". So it's "JmBoozz". This might refer to "Jimbooze" who hasn't posted in the forum since 2008. Has anybody heard from him? I've started on the audio file "CiteLaptopAnalyticOp". Only have a few words so far: "This transmission is probably being intercepted. Do not rebroadcast. 3...2...1"

Holy cow I was just looking at the braille stuff the other day. It never occurred to me that it could spell Jimbooze.
@ModalRealism: I didnt get that "Evariste Galois". Where did you see that?

In the DgYu_909 video it happens in the upper right for the 1st 5 seconds and then again from 12-17 seconds. Any idea how it fits in? Cool solve on the anagram, but it also spells "Apolitical Pecan Potty". Just saying ...

After exhaustive auditory research (ie: listening until my ears bled) I can say that Jimbooze is nearly right about the CiteLaptopAnalyticOp audio file. At one point in the audio you can hear the words "Apocalyptic Potential". I guess it will mean something at some point.

Folder#2 I'm into the second folder (gameface_17) and all I can say is "wow".
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The password is "asforJimbooze". The "asfor" came from the Morse code in the DgYu_909 movie file. The login name is the same "Rhino".
Somebody new has surfaced!
