My own notes so far

Well, I thought it was pretty good, for one thing. It certainly has things going on!

I suppose it's pretty clear that the 'hooded person' is the one who's leaving messages for Jay on the walls, and preparing the papers for Jay to find. I suspect that TO was there on his own decision, not directly because of Hoodie; he can't just be expected to wait in that cramped space indefinitely until Jay returns, if he does, gets the notes, takes the crawlspace, etc. . .

I at first Slendy looked strange popping out of the wall like that, but now I think maybe Jay's camera was turned 90 degrees and he was coming out of the ... floor, I guess? I didn't see a spot he could have come out of.

OOG, I think maybe they either used a cut (totally possible with all the camera messery) or two TOs to get the jump cut feeling.

The doll seems the cleanest thing in the place.

I assume that the use of the doll is, like a leitmotif, meant to tie things together from That House; maybe Hoodie, then, was there at the house; maybe there's teleporting happening in the crawlspace. And maybe the Basement of Doom is relevant to both??

I was very antsy watching the first half, and after Slendy had appeared (I paused after the first moment and after that felt a bit let down; I should have let it run!) I was more analytical.

So it appears Hoodie was calling Tim a liar, and since the last TTA was about lying too it seems that there's a strong connection between TTA and Hoodie; possibly they are the same person or working in cahoots. That was my feeling as soon as I saw the new graffiti with the word Liar. Hoodie seems to have been the one filming Jay sleeping in his car in the car park that one time as well.

The connection with Tim appearing in TTA videos at close range, even posing for TTA (see the rolling eyes in his mask), is a bit mystifying for me still.

Since there were no more signs leading Jay from the hospital to the crawlspace I guess Hoodie was assuming that the "following" from his last chase still applied.

Hmmm, I'm no mathematician, but Tim (Not a Tim S, but a Tim W, maybe for Wagner??) has records from '95, so that seems to make Tim a young'un at that time in his life, I reckon.

I dunno, Tim's outrage could well be real even though he has maybe been lying about stuff otherwise. Also I'm not confident we can trust Hoodie in the first place.

I will soon start to get a list together of things that are still wholly confusing or unexplained from the series, that I hope to find out more about before the series ends...

Part of this is just that I wonder how clearly the entire "arc" of the story was imagined from the start. Maybe some of the early appearances in the earliest entries, say 1-12ish, might not fit into the canon we have now? Like having an umbrella in the very early bits of the Narnia series, when no such machinelike things are otherwise used later... things like the dead animals, and the dog, and ... much later, the flock of masked or hooded entities who threaten to hurt ... was it Jay? ... with a rock... that masked person seemed much less robust than the others and I didn't feel it was Tim at all.

by the way, in my own opinion, after the Tim/Jay breakup I think Jay was tending to his punched face, more than wiping away tears of remorse... further, those footsteps upstairs (I thought it was all cement?! How can Jay hear that?? And is the person 'tracking' jay as in above/below the ice dynamic?) -- footsteps rather than running sounds--could be Hoodie or Tim, I guess. or that "security guard"...

So hoody accuses tim of lying, but what about exactly? I think this is something we have to collectively analyze

Person upstairs was IMO whoever brought the operator. Most likely Tim or Alex. But then where did they go?

Well, good entry. It was pretty scary. Could have been better, though.

Regarding the papers: I got the impression that each sheet of paper was a different file for different people, perhaps the entire cast of Alex's film? Maybe they all had stayed at the hospital in addition to Tim?

Probably not, as Hoody seems to only be referring to Tim as the liar. But I just wanted to put it out there.

Jay would have surely read them by now and put that at the end of the entry in the white text. He got back from the hospital wednesday so he's had plenty of time to go over them. More likely that it's just tim's reports from different years or something

That makes sense. However, Jay said that he still had to take the time to "look through everything," so I figured that meant that he hadn't looked at the medical papers in detail yet.
It takes time to sit in a corner and cry to yourself before setting up cameras to record your inevitable home invasion by the creatures on the edge of reality.

It did have eyes before, yes. I still have no idea if that's significant. I can't recall now if the Michael's dolls that were mentioned before (No Michael's stores exist in this country) were sold with eyes or not.

Hey, I just thought of something.

How do we think Tim's documents will be released to US. Maybe via Twitter pictures but...what about people who don't follow the Twitter? If a major plot point like that is only released via the Twitter, than God knows how many people will go all "Omigod, Marble Hornets is turning into Everyman HYBRID!" (Which of course is a vast overestimate, nothing's as complicated as Everyman HYRBID.) I suspect they'll be somehow summarized in the next entry, or maybe the one after that. But that's just my opinion.

And by the way, I'm just kidding about Everyman HYBRID. I actually still follow it.

Speaking of the doll, am I the only one who noticed that it almost seemed to be in a crucifixion pose? *shiver*

I noticed that too. My friend and I were watching over Skype, and I said "dude, it looks like the doll is crucified on a cross or something."

HOLY SHIT!

I just watched it. What an Entry.

That place? Best freaking setting this entire series. Masterful job of locating that setting.

They'll probably go up on twitter and Jay will summarize what was on them in the next entry. Although now, Jay has no leads and no way of finding Tim. Someone's gotta make contact with him for the story to continue.

I think Hoody's trying to tell us Tim knows what he's doing and making it look like he doesn't (what alex did in entry 22's end) due to time loss from the operator.

Maybe Tim is a targaryen and when the building was extinguished, tim remained unharmed with the operator shielding him

Agreed. Maybe they didn't go anywhere? Whatever room (hallway?) that Jay was crawling around under seemed separated from the room with the entrance to the tunnel. It seems likely to me that whoever it was was just there.

Also, I'm pretty torn on my opinion of who it was. On the one hand, Alex is the character most strongly associated with the Operator appearing. On the other hand, this season focuses pretty heavily on Tim.

Whoever it was seemed to be pacing--this also makes me think it might be Tim. Tim presumably knows Jay's coming (since he tweets about it and such) and may be waiting for him. Jay's just lucky enough not to encounter him.

This all definitely seems to be starting to cast Tim as the 'bad guy' (if there is only one 'bad guy'), but that doesn't sit well with me, considering the times he's seemingly helped Jay.

He was coming out of the area where the documents and the doll had been.

A lot of people think that the Basement of Doom is in the building directly across from the burnt-out hospital. Y'know, the place where Tim was knocked out.

I think someone's photobucket account in another topic gave away that the place from entry 22 and 23's second half are actually in the basement of this building. They've probably known about it for a while. Actually, that security guard line makes sense now, it's a subtle reference to the guard who told them OOG not to film there anymore.

I'm not expecting it on Twitter. I'm expecting it to be more like Entry 19.5.

Subtle reference to Alex's ghost story about criminals being tied to trees?
